Beautifully situated small campsite. Friendly reception. It has a small pool to cool off. Sanitary facilities are very simple but clean, a bit few toilets Absolutely recommendable

We had a Comfort Plus pitch which was a good size in this stunning location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and of a good standard. It is a short walk into the village where there are restaurants, a small supermarket and a bakery. Everything that you might need.

We actually liked the resort very much. The range of different activities is very large and we were able to use a lot of them with our child. The resort is very well maintained and the staff are very nice. However, when we arrived at our house 723, we noticed that the house was very dirty. We noticed the following: -There were huge spider webs in almost every corner -there were some dead insects on the floor of the living room -The kitchen was unacceptably dirty. There were termite or other insect droppings/dirt in all the cupboards. There were eggs/dead cockroaches/insects everywhere. -All the dishes were not washed properly and totally dirty, some of the glasses had dead insects in them! -Both the kettle and the coffee machine were so dirty that you couldn't use it at first. The coffee machine was infested with mold. -The stove didn't work at first so we couldn't cook the first night. The next day the technician was able to fix it. -The bathroom on the first floor smelled so much of drainage that the bedroom also smelled extremely bad as there is no door between the bathroom and the room. We had to put the mattresses in the living room to sleep as it was impossible to sleep with the smell. We informed the reception about the condition of the house and they sent the cleaning lady to the house. We asked her to clean the kitchen and the toilets. She wiped all the animals and eggs and wood scraps out of the kitchen cupboards onto the kitchen counter where all our vegetables and food were. She just left them there and only wiped over the cupboards once, in a very sloppy way. She didn't even clean the toilet because she said that the dirt couldn't be cleaned because of the calcified water. She then explained to us that the last cleaning lady hadn't cleaned thoroughly and that the rules in the complex were such that the cleaning lady would receive three warnings. On the third warning, she would have to bring a cake for everyone? In the end, we had to spend an entire vacation day cleaning so that we felt reasonably comfortable in the house. Despite cleaning, we kept finding insects in the glasses over the next few days, as the cupboards were probably heavily infested. We also informed reception about the smell. They said that someone would look into the problem. Someone was probably there while we weren't. However, nothing changed and the smell remained. We had to use the shower on the second floor so that the smell didn't get stronger. So we had a house where we could only use one bathroom, even though we had specifically chosen a house with two bathrooms. When we checked out, I was asked if everything was okay. I explained again that the state of the house was catastrophic. I didn't get an answer and the employee just stared at the screen, embarrassed and not knowing what to say.

Located near La Flotte and Ste Marie de Ré, pleasant and quiet campsite. Smiling, dynamic team at your service. The tent I stayed in was well equipped, with comfortable bedding. My only regret was that I wasn't able to use the swimming pool, as it was raining when I got there.

Liked: Only stayed one night. Site clean and tidy. Staff friendly. Nice restaurant/bar. Need to book in advance.

Nice campground, friendly owners/staff. Plumbing outdated, no outlet at area showers and washroom. But all can still be done. Swimming pool lovely with sunbeds and bistro also good. Spacious pitches and fortunately also with 10 amp. Cycling possibilities were disappointing.

Place is great, super nice staff, the beach is not far away! We will definitely remember it!

We spent a wonderful time in this vacation home in Burgerbrug! The location is perfect, close to the beach yet super quiet, I loved relaxing in the garden with my partner after a long day on the beach at Petten, The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, although it would have been nice to have some extra utensils, Overall it was cozy and relaxing, I will definitely be back!
