Unfriendly staff, bad restaurant, In short: way too expensive for what you get!

Second time I was at a WeCamp campsite. It is really too expensive for the spot, €40 per day including electricity. Camper spot is small for the price you pay. Campers are close together. It is maneuvering with your camper to drive across the campground. In addition, the campground is fairly far from San Sebastian. There is a bus from the campground and takes about 45 minutes to get to the center. Campsite is located in a beautiful area for biking/walking. Plumbing is fine with hot showers. I have come to the conclusion that I do not go to a WeCamp campground anymore. For the money you expect a lot making the bar high.

We stayed here in September, we had never slept in a Safari tent before and this was our first time, in itself it is not too bad, the people at the campground choose to check you in freely, the bathroom area is clean and so is the shower, other than that it was a bad night for us because there was just a stormy rain night with serious wind, please note this is our experience that doesn't mean others like it!

Avoid – not safe to stay with small children. We booked and paid for a Trappeur Tent Village 10-16 August 2025, together with another family staying in the tent next to us. Unfortunately upon arrival we discovered that both tents were infested with mice and mice poop was literally everywhere. In the beds/sheets, on the dishes, in the bathroom etc. When reporting it to the desk the famous reply of the reception desk was ‘this looks to me just like a dirty dish, not poop’. We didn’t know what was more shocking the confirmation that the tents were not cleaned or the complete lack of responsibility towards the guests. We later spoke with the manager who was kind and confirmed there was a dormouse issue. An alternative tent would only be available two days later with possibility that it would have mice as well. As this posed a serious health risk to our baby and small children who roam the floor, beds and would eat from those dishes we decided to leave the next morning. Despite the fact that this was a health and safety issue (they should have closed off that section of the camp site and notify/reimburse us in advance), the only thing that was offered to us was a restaurant voucher and no cleaning charge.. We are now three months later and this week they confirmed that they will charge us the full 6 nights (€1822) for the one night we were forced to stay in the dirty tent as it was too late to get accommodation elsewhere. Unacceptable. To be continued, but please be warned by the mismanagement of Huttopia of this situation and the Dieulefit location. Response to Huttopia's reply: Please note, no solutions were offered! This was the entire point of our review above. There was no alternative accommodation available. They didn't even offer to clean the tents so unlike the message says there was a complete disregard of cleanliness and safety. We had no other option than to leave. Staying would have caused a health hazard to our baby and family.

Nice and beautiful campground for winter camping. We stayed here last weekend to try winter camping. The weather gods cooperated with in the night just below freezing. Saturday waking up to a white campground with a layer of snow, how nice is that. What pleased us was that we were not alone on the campsite. Many places occupied by weekend guests but also many people who are here so the winter season. In short, cozy so. We immediately made a reservation for the days around New Year's Eve. Looking forward to it already. Sanitary facilities look great. Nice and clean and no hassle with coins or passes to shower. Bathhouse could be stoked a bit more for the pleasantness.....that is the only point of feedback. Looking forward to next month. Thanks also compliments to the nice people at the reception and the warm welcome.

We'd be delighted to return to this campsite, which is so close to Paris that we did everything on foot.

Despite the dreary November weather, we booked a 3-day stay at Les Cabanes d'Ostende. At the parking lot on the stone road we were still a bit skeptical and curious what it would be like. Until we came across the little gate and path between the trees and on the way the fantastic bar/bakery/biblio/mini-shop (underground like in teletubbieland!). And then the door to the luxury chalet had yet to be opened. Wow all top of the line materials and cozy with the fireplace! (For which you must first go and split some wood yourself). The wellness island with pizza oven was also a fantastic experience. Time was short and we promise to come back when the leaves are hanging in the trees. Ps: by bike or on foot Ostend is nearby which is also a nice combo!

The rooms were amazing

We were there with our motorhome: a super great campsite with some very large pitches. The sanitary building is extremely modern, very well maintained and clean. The site is highly recommended.

I've been back twice now, the first time with little kids and the second time with grown kids, I can say it's even better than the first time....
