Petite SuisseWe are RVers, but due to a broken down RV, we chose the tent. This was a very nice experience! The shower in the tent was very good! (In contrast, the showers in the nearby toilet building were really substandard: almost all showers had very little water coming out of the shower head, except for the family shower. These were still somewhat reasonable) The quality of the restaurant was above expectations.

Wij zijn camperaars, maar wegens een kapotte camper hebben we de tent gekozen. Dit was een erg leuke ervaring! De douche in de tent was erg goed! (De douches in het dichtbijgelegen toiletgebouw waren daarentegen echt ondermaats: er kwam bij bijna alle douches erg weinig water uit de douchekop, behalve bij de familiedouche. Deze waren nog enigszins redelijk) De kwaliteit van het restaurant was boven verwachting goed.

Holiday Resort de Bronzen EmmerNice vacation park and cozy Finnish bungalows. We have been here twice (2017 and 2022) and there were some things updated like the sofa and dining room chairs. Furthermore, the bathroom is very dated though and many windows are still single glass, this should be updated. There are nice things to do in the area such as Orvelte, Dwingelderveld, steam train Veendam-Stadskanaal and also many forests around the park.

Leuk vakantiepark en gezellige Finse bungalows. We zijn hier twee keer geweest (2017 en 2022) en er waren een aantal dingen vernieuwd zoals de bank en eetkamerstoelen. Verder is de badkamer wel erg gedateerd en veel ramen zijn nog steeds enkel glas, dit zou wel moeten worden aangepast. Er zijn leuke dingen in de omgeving te doen zoals Orvelte, Dwingelderveld, stoomtrein Veendam-Stadskanaal en ook veel bossen rond het park.

Hindeloopen40 years with a tent, caravan and mobile home are over. The loss of joy, friends and a second home hurts more than the financial loss. Did the local authority really do itself a favor by granting planning permission for the park? This year at least, there are no guests going to the supermarkets, visiting restaurants or just generating revenue through taxes. And if at some point the totally overpriced "huts" are built (not on solid foundations but on individual concrete blocks), nature will soon sort it out; with rising sea levels and increasing storm events, the situation in front of the dyke will soon put the fun of owning property into perspective.

40 Jahre mit Zelt, Wohnwagen und Mobilheim vorbei. Mehr als der finanzielle Verlust schmerzt der Verlust von Freude, Freunden und 2. Heimat. Ob die Gemeinde sich wirklich einen Gefallen getan hat mit der Baugenehmigung für den Park? Dieses Jahr zumindest gibt es keine Gäste, die in die Supermärkte gehen, Restaurants besuchen oder nur für Einnahmen durch Steuern sorgen. Und wenn dann vielleicht irgendwann einmal die total überteuerten "Hütten" stehen (nicht auf soliden Fundamenten sondern auf einzelnen Betonklötzen), wird die Natur es bald richten; bei steigendem Meeresspiegel, zunehmenden Unwetterereignissen wird die Lage vor dem Deich den Spaß am Eigentum bald relativieren.
