First of all, I would like to say that I generally only write a review when I think something is good. But today I have to make an exception. We had booked a "Premium" Maravea mobile home. But the premium here is only the price. The first mobile home was so run-down that we would have preferred to go straight home again. The kitchen cupboards fall open when you open them, the patio table is completely rusty and the door handles fall off when you touch them. The second mobile home was slightly better but a standard mobile home. We booked a better category for an extra charge. When I mentioned this again at reception, another mobile home was suggested to us. After 4 hours of viewing mobile homes, we had had enough. We were forced to choose the last one because our 6-month-old daughter was also knocked out. The parking lots to the mobile homes are usually further away and loading and unloading is very difficult. Funnily enough, our house didn't even have a parking space, so we were constantly sent to a different spot. About the mobile home: The mobile home is in poor condition. The kitchen worktop is swollen, as are the cupboards. The sheets were stained. (Luckily we took one ourselves). The stove does not work. The bathroom has stains on the joints. Apart from the miserable equipment.... I have never seen such poor and minimalist equipment. Not even a dishcloth is provided. The campsite supermarket is as brazen as it gets. I've never seen anything so outrageously expensive. Not even at other campsites. The restaurants are chic and the quality is okay, but here too the prices are outrageous. I constantly have the feeling of being ripped off here.

Sretno!

The island of Pag is special & definitely worth a visit. We were already very impressed by the landscape and the view of the mountains and sea on the outward journey. From the village of Povljana it gets narrow. The access road to the campsite is very narrow in places - if there is oncoming traffic, you have to take evasive action with a normal car, with a camper van, well... We stayed in the premium mobile home (without pool). It was spacious enough for 2 adults with 4 larger children, nicely furnished and clean. In order to be able to use the pull-out sofa, we put the inside table against the wall and the chairs outside, as the terrace offers plenty of space. The view was gigantic, but the wind on the terrace caused us problems. A single-sided pane of glass would help here. Tip - in heavy rain, the entire surface of the terrace gets wet despite the large roof. As we read some reviews in advance, we had dishwasher tabs, toilet paper etc. with us. Thanks for that. The pool area is good. There are many free loungers. The infinity pool has a great panorama. There are great slides. However, after a few slides, the swimming trunks of all 4 children were broken and minor injuries were not long in coming (presumably the green slide). Just before 6 p.m. on the dot, unmotivated pool staff, who prefer to look at their cell phones rather than the guests, whistle loudly to get you out of the pool. The wide beach is beautiful at first glance and the water is fantastically clear. It is by no means a 5* beach. In Croatia, many bathers always wear bathing shoes. We usually never need ours - but we do here. It's difficult to get into the water without them, as the piled-up stones are very angular and sharp. It's easy to get into the water directly at the aqua park without them. Sun loungers are also free on the beach, but unfortunately there are far too few of them. They are always covered with towels. There is plenty of space for a picnic blanket and some shade under a few pine trees (which are unfortunately not in good condition - presumably due to the deforestation of the other trees). It's not very comfortable because of the rough stones. Great - there are 2 clean toilet blocks. If you want to go on excursions on the island, you will see great nature and find beautiful small beaches, also with sand. The small soccer pitch and basketball hoops are great. For us, there is a lack of sports facilities such as a beach volleyball court and table tennis tables. The padel court and tennis are expensive. The wifi is quite unstable. The pitches are large and the 1st row with pool is great for those who like it and can afford it (approx. €2000 more per week than the 2nd row). As the luxury liners and the like usually position themselves in such a way that nobody can see their pitch including the pool, the other campers are unfortunately also denied a view of the sea. For us, it was a no-go to arrive here with our caravan and spend a lot of money looking at other motorhomes. The pitches in front of the pool area have a beautiful view of the bay, but you can't get into the water from there. Impractical with a SUP or similar. The CP is car-free. You can call reception at any time to be picked up with an electric caddy and brought back to the mobile home. You then have to wait a bit - but it's a great service. If you are traveling with a camper van or a fixed van and want to eat or shop outside the campsite, you should bring bicycles, as the campsite is a bit out of town. The own supermarket is very expensive (1 King ice cream, similar to Magnum 4,20€). The restaurants are inviting and the food ok, but also rather expensive, especially the drinks. However, the prices of the restaurants in the surrounding area have also adjusted. We noticed that some places are not really finished, but nothing is being done. In many places there are holes, tree stumps, dead plants and trees, asphalt residue. You should have more attention to detail on a 5* pitch. Overall, it is a beautiful campsite with great surroundings and fantastic views. Aminess still has a lot to learn for 5*.

In Kroatien tragen viele Badegäste stets Badeschuhe.

The campsite is in a very good location - close to Novigrad, Motovun and other picturesque towns. The mobile homes were clean and well maintained, but lacked some basic things like sponges or cleaning products, which had to be ordered separately. The view from the Family Village was different from the photos - instead of the sea, we were looking at olive trees. The children's pools were clean, but there were no toilets. Another negative aspect was that sun loungers and many attractions such as the trampoline and mini golf had to be paid for separately. The biggest problem, however, was some guests, mainly from Germany and the Netherlands, who parked their cars in the parking lots of other accommodations and reacted aggressively when this was pointed out to them. Each mobile home was allocated its own numbered parking space, but this rule was regularly disregarded. In addition, the campsite staff let vehicles onto the site that were not registered in the system and then occupied other guests' spaces. The reception explained that there was nothing they could do about this. In my five years of camping in Europe, I have never experienced anything like this. On a positive note, the delicious ice cream, the good on-site cuisine and the great evening program with live music and mini disco for children. The entertainers were fantastic - full of energy, commitment and warmth.

We had a wonderful vacation at this cozy family campground. The pool is lovely and big enough for the campsite. The sanitary facilities are kept very clean and there is plenty to do for the children. From the campsite there are lots of nice trips to make. Don't miss the cable car and toboggan run in Valkenburg and get an ice cream at Paul's in Wijlre.

This is one of the largest campgrounds in spades above 6,000 people (if not more). The facility is all spread out in an inlet on the coast, so this stretch of sea turns out to be very calm and ideal for swimming in the sea as well. The beach is about 4km long, and there is a promenade that can also be done by bicycle. In addition to the sea there are an indoor facility with a water park of access reserved only for Camping guests, quite large it accommodates about a thousand people which tends to be crowded on nice and hot summer days. A sports facility, includes tennis courts, an 18-hole miniature golf course, a soccer/basketball court, and a beach volleyball court. Also a small skate area with ramps (not very large). An outdoor arena used during the day for foosball games and American-style mini-billiards, in the evenings used for movie screening(not every night). Every km or so of the campground there is a facility equipped with toilets/showers and sinks for dishes and laundry (no washing machines), always sanctified every hour or so, with deep cleaning around 6 a.m. These toilets are also present in every bar/restaurant on the campsite. Beach management is careful, with staff cleaning the shoreline every morning of algae and trash left by guests. Being the about 4km of beach you can vary and take to different areas, all free where there are bars and umbrellas you can pay by booking take umbrella and two sunbeds. Besides that in the "Plaza" every night from 8:30 pm until 10 pm there are shows and performances by artists and/or acrobats. Also in the Plaza are a restaurant and a creperie and an ice cream parlor, as well as an American Bar for cocktails. Behind the stage there is a recreation area for children/pre-adolescents with games, trampolines and game room( also a beautiful textile game made of honeycomb). There are 3 Valfresco mini-market outlets distributed in the campsite obviously with prices aligned with the tourist industry. At 2km outside the Camping there is a Tommy and a Plodine supermarket with prices more beautiful norm. Tips for families and the stay I stayed 2 weeks with my 3 children as well as my wife, in an Eco Lodge tent(5 beds with small kitchen with fridge with Freezer cell (no sink) and no bathroom). In Zone B (see map). To visit the whole campground we were equipped with bikes, essential to get around if you don't want to walk all the time, although for 5gg maybe you can do it. Alternative there are the electric scooters that are depopulated here that allow excellent mobility. For the record once you park your vehicle near the pitch there is no other parking available in the Camping except one at the entrance for check-in and one for check-out. Keep in mind that the campsite is on small hilly areas so there are ups and downs that are difficult to manage with traditional scooters. I managed the transport of cribs and various bags with a beach cart. Toilets/showers dishwashing The designated facilities are always open and as obvious there are peaks with associated queues from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and in the evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Food There are 4 restaurants in the Camping, all with mixed meat/Italian menu obvious that as far as prices are concerned we are high but the service is great. We shopped at home and brought a box of pasta/soy/cereal/milk/legumes-maize from home. The fresh we got from the two supermarkets (see above) I prefer pork (cevapcici) which are at honest prices. Ice creams : they are the most expensive kind of treat in the area, you can always obviate for a 6-pack of supermarket ice creams and put them in the supplied refrigerator. Brioche/Coffee. There are at least 6 Bakery in the campsite that open at 7 a.m. for bread (4€/kg) and brioches(2.5€) Overall Experience : Positive, area B is well connected to everything and central. Excellent management.

In pictures you see the luxury and tranquility. Nice facilities, large sites, beautiful plumbing. Well big dip; high season summer vacations. This campsite is not made for so many people. Long waits for showers, a pool that is overcrowded, no more indoor or outdoor berths to get. For us this meant that our children were quickly overexcited we fled to the tranquility of the Slingeplas. Back at the campsite in time before the queues at the sanitary building began. And the animation. We have been to quite a few campsites already, for a 5 star campsite this was incredibly amateurish. Not enough items for all the children, 9 out of 10 times nothing prepared, mini disco where the equipment stopped several times, they had a great time with each other instead of the children/the guests. Too bad. It really is a beautiful location, but this is not worth 5 stars. Not recommended in the summer vacations.

We have been here in the pre-season. When the campground was still quite quiet but the service was absolutely top notch! Every problem was immediately addressed and they were always ready to answer questions. In addition, we received many tips and the campsite is also very dog friendly which is also very nice for us. In short, very friendly owner who really has his heart in the work and is happy to help. I also received a delicious bottle of organic wine for my birthday which shows how customer friendly they are.

Also next year we will celebrate our little girl's birthday in this chain. Excellent
