We enjoyed a mini-vacation at a lovely, small-scale resort; the tiny suite was great. The outdoor pool is a definite plus. We weren’t bothered much by the passing trains (we used earplugs). We’ll definitely be back! It’s an ideal base for trips to Valkenburg, Maastricht, and more.
Restaurant tip: Una Mas = great tapas!

Beautiful, quiet location right on the water—unfortunately, significant shortcomings in cleanliness and amenities

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. Cleanliness: 3 out of 10 points!

Drawers, window panes, floors, and dishes were, in some cases, heavily soiled. There were numerous strands of hair everywhere, even on the sofa. Apparently, you have to pay extra to get a hair-free and properly cleaned house. In my opinion, that should go without saying! We even had to descale the electric kettle ourselves.

There’s also room for improvement when it comes to the amenities. Some basic household items were missing, such as dessert plates, soup plates, and a bath mat.

In addition, there were no instruction manuals in German. Especially for appliances like the microwave-oven combination, an easy-to-understand manual would have been really helpful.

Another point of criticism was the lack of or insufficient outdoor lighting. The paths, in particular, were barely lit after dark. It wasn’t until we briefly mentioned this to the front desk that anything was done about it.

But there were also some really nice and positive aspects:

* The location right on the water is beautiful and pleasantly quiet. Perfect for unwinding and enjoying the peace and quiet.
* The shopping options are great! Just a few minutes’ drive away, you’ll find various stores where you can easily stock up on everything you need.
* Check-in was completely hassle-free and straightforward thanks to the PIN.
* The hot tub was already pleasantly warm when we arrived and ready to use right away.
* Extending our stay on short notice was also completely hassle-free, as long as the house was still available. We found that particularly positive!

Our conclusion:

We really enjoyed the quiet location right on the water, the great hot tub, and the hassle-free organization. The house definitely offers a wonderful opportunity for a relaxing getaway.

However, there is significant room for improvement, particularly regarding cleanliness and basic amenities. At this price, you’d expect to find a clean and well-equipped house without having to clean, descale, or complain about missing items yourself.

It’s a real shame, because with a little more care in cleaning and furnishing, the stay could be thoroughly enjoyable.

It's really beautiful there!

Excellent shuttle bus into Paris for a small fee. Can walk into Central Paris from the shuttle drop-off without using the Metro. Excellent choice for central Paris. Expensive but good value for location.

Idealer Platz für einen Besuch von San Marino. Kostenloser Shuttle hinauf in die Altstadt. Haltestelle direkt vor dem Campingplatz. Der Platz selbst bietet alles was man braucht: Strom, V/E, Wasser, Brötchenservice, Restaurant etc. Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert.

Bospark Ede is a fantastic spot in the woods. The cottages are clean and tidy, fully equipped with all amenities.
It’s a quiet park with helpful and friendly staff. We love coming here.
For children, there’s an indoor playground where both younger and older kids can have fun. There are two bowling alleys that are a lot of fun.
Outside, there are various play areas and a soccer field.

From the park, you can walk straight into the woods from several directions. For nature lovers, this is a wonderful place.

We would definitely like to come back here.
