Great location, well equipped house, poorly stocked "supermarket " only opens at 9am which is late especially on the day of departure when you are supposed to leave at 10am.

I stayed for three days in a chalet of the campsite. I received a nice welcome and the chalet contained everything I needed. It was a quiet environment. Still keep in mind that if you come on foot from Valkenburg station, it is usually not flat to get to the camp.You can hear light highway in the background when you are outside, but I did not find this disturbing. The staff is friendly, the bike I rented was in good condition and the pool was well maintained. I experienced a fine stay.

The campsite definitely deserves 5 stars. Great service, great accommodation, spotlessly clean - the program for children is great, the beaches are beautiful. We ate in various restaurants on the campsite and it was always great. Everything is very child-friendly with lots of play facilities - both in the pool area and in the restaurants. Wonderful excursions via the concierge service, all thoroughly recommended. I can imagine that it is very crowded in the high season - although this is the case everywhere - in the low season in September it is totally relaxed here and the price is more than justified. Great option for families with kindergarten children. We will definitely come back and book with Valamar. A dream vacation! 💜

Really nice bungalow, everything working and prepared, service I can't answer because I haven't seen anyone since we arrived, perfect location, just outside the campsite there is a convenience store, a tobacconist and I think a restaurant, and best of all it's towards the top of the 'island. (It saved us from the September 9 flood). Anyway, I would gladly go back, I enjoyed it very much.

We spent a weekend in the motorhome and super well the spacious bathrooms very clean, the pool clean water and very nice atmosphere of the surroundings 100%recommendable.

We stayed here for two nights as our car broke down and we were waiting for the garage. Since it was off season, the place was very quiet, which we really enjoyed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 4-person cabin, which was impeccable. Just note that bedding, blankets, and pillows are not provided, so make sure to bring your own. The toilets and showers were spotless, and the trails around the area are absolutely amazing.

It is a super nice and clean campground with spacious sites. We will definitely come back here again.

It is such a shame that this campground does not live up to the potential of what is possible. The campground itself is quite nice, however, the service is pathetic. We had a pitch in an open field. The toilets in the pine forest were often very dirty. Quite a few toilets were broken and flushed all night. The supermarket itself was okay, but the staff was very uninterested. While helping, they were dead set on their phones. Pool was in need of maintenance. Tiles were loose. Especially for our children we had chosen a campsite with a slide. Unfortunately this slide was more closed than open. Animation was every week the same. Unfortunately we had to watch Belle and the Beast twice. Evening shows mostly in Italian. Sea was fine. We had rented sunbeds. Unfortunately there is only a small place where you can enter the water. There was a lifeguard who was more watching Netflix than paying attention. The young boy, on the other hand, was very active watching. Kudos to him. The side where you could lie for free with towels was very often overcrowded. Very many mosquitoes. The campsite does nothing against them. A lemon candle against mosquitoes is not allowed at the campsite. Very strange that you are not allowed to protect yourself against mosquitoes. People at the reception were very helpful and friendly. We will not return to this campsite. There are plenty of other campsites that are nicer.

We weren't on the campsite, but the restaurant is open to everyone. You can eat well and cheaply here.

Nice and cozy

Tiny house for 2pers was super nice. Beautifully and practically furnished. The bedroom is on the loft, you can't stand upright there and have to crawl into bed on all fours....it's just a little too low for taller and older people

Warm welcome, copious and very good evening meals. Breakfast lacks fruit, cheese and ham, which is a shame, but there's plenty of bread, butter, jam and pastries. I recommend +++
