Beautiful nature

A lovely campground right on the lake. Still fairly quiet in June.

This is a really great place to relax. The service is excellent and friendly. And the restaurant is okay, too.
You should, however, make sure to stock up on provisions. It’s located in the middle of “nowhere.” Since the camp is currently being expanded, there’s a construction site. But the noise from the site isn’t really bothersome because of the distance. We had power outages every now and then, but they were always fixed in time, so we didn’t have to worry about the freezer defrosting.
It was about a 25-minute drive to the beach in Melides. That was totally fine. And if that’s too far for you, there are two swimming pools at the campground. Oh, and it’s kid-friendly, too. There’s also a nice playground near the campground’s restaurant.
Bottom line: We’d love to come back!

We stayed at this campground for 3 days. Booking online was easy. The welcome was very warm, and we had the perfect spot for this kind of weather (30+). The two restroom buildings are very clean and sufficient for the campground. There’s a small swimming pool, and the food on the terrace is delicious. We joined in for the satay night and the spare ribs night—it was truly delicious. In the morning, you can get fresh bread, which the owners cheerfully wrap up and include a nice little note for everyone. All in all, a really nice campground with a relaxed atmosphere. Oh, and the Wi-Fi was perfect, too.

We stayed here with our WW for a weekend when it was 30 degrees.
We arrived late, but it wasn’t a problem—we called, gave our license plate number and email address, were assigned a site, the gate opened, and we were able to drive onto the campground.
The sites are large, mostly shaded, and have electricity, water, and sewer hookups.
The restaurant offers good quality at fair prices; the staff is friendly despite the stress, and service is quick.
So far, so good.
The restrooms are more like those at a good municipal campground in France than at a Leading campground chain. Everything is quite outdated and surrounded by numerous tripping hazards.
We even had to wait in line for the shower, and that was during the early season.
We had expected much better facilities here.
We avoided the pool area altogether—it was simply too crowded.
No wonder: the area is open not only to campers but also to the general public.
And it seemed like people had come from all over the area—it was the weekend and 30 degrees🤷🏼.
Otherwise, the campground is a paradise for kids.
As a couple traveling alone, we felt a bit out of place here.
