We rented a chalet; it wasn’t very big, but it was neat. We had to check within half an hour to see if everything was there… it turned out that wasn’t the case—some spoons and plates were missing… but that was handled nicely the next day (when we reported it). Other than that, it was a nice, neat place to stay. On Sundays, the stores—EVEN ON THE CAMPSITE—are closed… so you’ll need to get bread and other essentials on Saturday for the next morning. We try to speak a little Slovenian, and most locals seem to appreciate that… We had to pay about 1,800 euros per week for the chalet, but on top of that, there’s the cost of linens, towels, and air conditioning… Personally, I think that’s pretty expensive (air conditioning 5 euros per day, linens 80 euros, and I can’t quite recall the price for towels). The entertainment team does a great job for the kids. The food was decent… though I get the impression they close whenever it suits them...

Nice water park. The cottage was pretty okay. Too bad about all the electric scooters and fat bikes zooming by.

Mooi waterpark.

A decent place with a really good water park. The food, however, was mediocre to poor, and the grounds were run-down, but it’s okay value for the money, and I’d recommend staying a night or two.

Terme Catez is a great campground with plenty to do for children up to about 17 years old.
We stayed in a Sunlodge from Suncamp; this trailer and the Suncamp staff on site were perfect.
It’s about a 5-minute walk to the pool and about a 10-minute walk to the center of the campground.
The welcome at the campground’s main reception was unprofessional and very slow, though all the staff were friendly—which is actually true of all the campground staff.
The pool is beautiful and large, though the water slides could use a new coating.
Slovenia is beautiful, but there isn’t much to do around the campground.

All in all, highly recommended—especially the Sunlodge by Suncamp.
