We loved the experience, the staff was very nice all the time. The cabin was beautiful and very clean and for a couple it is very romantic. The facilities are very modern and cozy. We had a massage in addition with Mercedes that we recommend 100%, she was a great professional and we ended up very relaxed. The only thing I would put down is that we wanted to try the SPA but it coincided that they were under maintenance so we did not have the opportunity. On the other hand, we thought that maybe they could install some more curtains in the kitchen window as the bathroom area is in the middle of the cabin and to enter or exit the shower there was little privacy. Also, we missed some things in the kitchen such as a small jar of oil, salt and sugar, indispensable for cooking anything in the cabin. Otherwise we think it was an incredible experience for any time of the year, in a very good location, we will surely repeat!

Smaczny hamburger w restauracji.

Good facilities but disappointing staff attitude and spa experience. We stayed at Costa del Sol Glamping Village in late October. The lodge and location are great overall — quiet and relaxing until the locals arrived to celebrate Halloween weekend. Even then, there were still plenty of loungers by the pool, both in the sun and shade. The sandy area by the pool was perfect for little ones, with a shallow end for toddlers and a water slide for children aged 10+. The pool isn’t heated, but the temperature was fine for short swims at that time of year. The restaurant serves decent food, slightly pricey but expected for the area. There’s a sports field for ball games, a small toddler playground, and lots of children’s activities (though we didn’t take part). It’s a great location — about a 5-minute walk over the bridge to the beach and Fuengirola promenade, close to Sohail Castle, and near a BP station for essentials. The launderette (€5 wash, €3 dry) was handy, though it did get busy at times. We stayed in a Neri bungalow with its own bathroom. It included shampoo, shower gel, and a small washing-up pack — a nice touch — but oddly, toilet paper isn’t replaced. Now for the downsides: 1. Uncomfortable seating: The breakfast bar stools are too tall and narrow; the hard edges dig into your skin. Everyone in our group, including an older person and a toddler, struggled to use them. 2. Desperate lack of storage: There isn’t even a coat hook by the entrance or a wardrobe for jackets and shoes, despite there being plenty of room for one. The kitchen has almost no storage space and no oven or air fryer, which makes self-catering difficult. 3. Disappointing spa experience: We booked the spa for 45 minutes (€14.40 each). The facilities were fine but basic — the sauna only reached 70 °C, and the jacuzzi water was lukewarm. We finished using the facilities on time but stayed a little longer in the changing room drying and dressing. We didn’t realise that changing time counted as part of the 45 minutes, as no one told us. A cleaner briefly popped their head in but said nothing. The next day, when we tried to rebook, the receptionist was very cross and told us we were “banned” from the spa for overstaying, saying the cleaners “couldn’t clean.” We apologised and even offered to pay for the extra time, but she refused saying she will need to contact her manager to "decide what to do with you two" never contacting us again about it afterwards. And then the charge appeared later anyway. The situation was handled very poorly and left us feeling humiliated rather than relaxed. It was quite demeaning to be reprimanded on holiday, especially over something that could have been resolved with a simple conversation. 4. Restaurant incident: On one occasion, a waitress chased after us to check if we had paid. We had, and she could have easily verified this before confronting us. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. 5. Unfriendly staff: Apart from Antonio the gardener (who was absolutely lovely), most staff seemed uninterested or unfriendly, rarely greeting guests. After the spa incident, the receptionist became openly hostile, which made us feel uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. Overall, the resort has great potential — lovely setting, family-friendly facilities, and a good location — but the management and customer service need serious improvement. It’s such a shame we were treated the way we were, because it really could have been a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely be back to Málaga — but sadly, we won’t be staying at Glamping Costa del Sol again.
