Glamping Tent Almanzora - 4 persons

We stayed in a really cute bungalow. It had air conditioning and the basics for cooking, plus the typical little patio. Very, very nice atmosphere. The bungalow area is very quiet, beautiful, and cozy.

The pool is tiny, but it’s nice and sufficient (at least during our stay in early July). The activity leader is a real character!

The bar/restaurant is a bit pricey, so we didn’t end up trying it. On the other hand, the mini-store has all the daily essentials, but at absolutely exorbitant prices (as you’d expect). The same toothbrush that costs €1 at Consum costs €2.70 here (Consum brand, exactly the same one).

The staff is very friendly, and overall there’s a great atmosphere, nice facilities, etc.
The security guard is very attentive.

The nearest beach is just so-so, but it’s only 5 minutes away, which is great for a quick dip first thing in the morning. The downside is that you have to cross a road with no crosswalk or anything. That said, WATER SHOES ARE A MUST because it really lives up to its name, that’s for sure, haha (like all the beaches in the area!). The one next door is a bit better, but it’s a nudist beach 😂🍆 so, well, it depends on your personal preferences…

On the other hand, there are tons of flies—open the window for just a minute and six of them fly right in. From what I’ve read, it’s not the campground’s fault; it’s just typical of the area. I blamed it on a greenhouse right across the street, as well as a smell of manure that hit us on a few days💩

Overall, the campground is cozy and quiet, ideal for coming with kids or pets, friends, or a partner. Good facilities and attentive staff. The only thing to keep in mind is that you have to take the car for EVERYTHING!! Shopping, eating out for dinner or lunch, going to a slightly nicer beach… etc. The good news is that everything is just a 5–10-minute drive away :) (but it’s impossible to walk because it’s all along the highway).

Just one more thing: PLEASE, TAKE CARE OF THE BEACHES AND COVES YOU VISIT🥹🌊⛱️❤️
It’s an increasingly touristy area, but we only have one planet and we must respect it.

Our experience was very pleasant; the campground is small, quiet, and clean. We stayed in one of the bungalows for four people, and it’s very spacious. It has air conditioning—there’s only one unit for the whole space—but it’s comfortable. You might need a little extra cooling during the hottest hours of the day, but it’s never unbearably hot. Plus, everything is very clean and well-maintained. I’d especially like to highlight the work of the activity leader, Luís. He handles activities for both adults and children in a family-friendly atmosphere—he’s great. His service is exceptional; he’s always smiling and makes sure you have a wonderful time with him. He’s very approachable and friendly—a 10 out of 10.
When the campground is very crowded, there might not be enough lounge chairs, so if you bring a beach chair—as some people did—you can find some extra shade by the pool area.
There are supermarkets nearby, but you’ll need a car to get around—there’s almost nothing to see on foot, just the beach right next door.
We had a great experience and I recommend it for a peaceful family getaway.

A very quiet and cozy campground. Luis, the activity leader, is the best!!! The pool is small but sufficient if there aren't too many guests staying there. The nearest beach isn’t one of the best in Almería; the restaurant has limited variety, and there’s a convenience store with the basics, but supermarkets and shops aren’t too far away. It’s a quiet place, but you’ll need to drive for everything. If you just want to stay at the campground, it’s fine, but there isn’t much else to do.
