Wecamp Cadaqués

The Empordà region is known for its ‘mar i muntanya’ cuisine: fish, meat, tapas, and local wines. In Cadaqués you’ll find delicious restaurants within walking distance of the park. Enjoy local fish dishes at Can Rafa, original tapas at Es Cantó, or Mediterranean fusion at Gastrobar Raviyu. Don’t forget to try the local specialty: tapones de Cadaqués – sweet cookies shaped like a cava cork.

Nature and tranquility lovers can indulge themselves with the walking trails around Cadaqués. From the campsite, for example, you can walk to the Cala Nans lighthouse, enjoying views over the bay and hidden beaches like Sa Sabolla along the way. Prefer a slightly longer hike? Then the route to the protected nature reserve Paraje de Tudela is highly recommended – Salvador Dalí called this ‘a place created by gods’. The short walk to Port Lligat is also perfect for an afternoon outing with a visit to Dalí’s house.

The area around Cadaqués offers an impressive coastline with hidden coves and crystal-clear water. Rent a boat or join a tour with Cadaqués Boats or Marinet to explore the coastline from the sea. Looking for adventure? Go diving with Sotamar or Cadaqués Divers and discover the underwater world of Cap de Creus. Prefer to relax? Spend a day at one of the idyllic beaches such as Cala Jugadora or Cala Guillola – perfect for a picnic, snorkeling session, or simply an afternoon in the sun.
