Glamping Couple - 2 persons

A campground where tent camping isn't allowed is, to say the least, shameful.

The Tiny House where we stayed had everything we needed for a comfortable stay; the only issue was that on the day we arrived, since the AC hadn’t been left on, it got unbearably hot until we turned it on and it cooled down. The staff was polite, but if you don’t ask them, they only give you partial information; I’d like to highlight the excellent … service provided by the waiter, Sisa. The campground is very nice, although on August 31 they closed the Kids Club without having announced it anywhere beforehand. Three emails ignored, then told I was stupid for not booking online

I contacted this campsite three times by email before arriving. I was not trying to avoid booking — I wanted to know first whether they could receive an important package for me, before committing to a room at their rates. I never received a single reply to any of the three … emails.
I went there in person on the evening of September 6th and explained that the package was arriving the following day. A member of staff told me I was stupid for not having seen on their website that rooms can be booked directly online.
Let that sink in: I was called stupid for writing to them, by the same business that had ignored three of my emails.
Their only suggestion for the package was that I wait outside the gate, in the sun, for the entire day until it arrived. No alternative was offered — not holding it at reception, not a booking arrangement, nothing.
I asked to speak with the manager and was told the staff did not know the manager’s schedule. Not that he was away, not to come back later — simply that nobody knew.
I also used their water refill service, which is priced well above anything reasonable, and their room and pitch rates are steep for the area. I have no problem paying for good service. Paying premium prices to be ignored and then insulted is another matter.
I would not return, and I would not recommend this place to anyone travelling who might need even minimal flexibility. Read more Show less

Today we tried to make our way through the narrow streets at this campground so we could go biking in the area. It was completely full. Too bad, but no big deal. Luckily, we found an excellent campground a little further down the road in El Port de la Selva. What a fantastic campground that is! It’s large, with beautiful sites and excellent restroom facilities....

Tenia una reserva per a una nit. Dos dies abans intento contactar per dir qur no podré anar. Finalment, anul·lar la reserva em costa 45€, és a dir, el mateix cost gairebé que si hagués anat.

Great location; the glamping unit is very well-equipped—it has everything you need: comfortable mattresses, closets, a sink with gel, shampoo, and a hair dryer, and a kitchen equipped with everything necessary for a few days.
I didn’t like that it was locked with a padlock, and it’s very close to the street with no security at the entrance. We … went in and out several times, and there was no one on duty—it didn’t feel very safe.
I also didn’t like that there was no café, and the mini-market charges you for a capsule coffee as if it were a coffee from a bar.
Very friendly and pleasant staff. Great views, ideal pool, good restaurant with very friendly staff
The only downside—which is why I’m not giving it 5 stars—is that the outdoor furniture isn’t very clean. The chairs are white fabric, but it’s gross to sit on them because they’re covered in stains, and the entrance curtain is just as dirty. It’s a shame because it detracts a bit from everything else.
Keep in mind that the town is within walking distance, but the hill is very steep. Read more Show less
