Summary created out of 125 reviews

Camping Punta Milà is beautifully situated in a shady pine forest, a 15-minute walk from the bay of Cala Montgó. Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, the well-maintained appearance, and the clean sanitary facilities that are cleaned several times a day. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, with many returning guests. The swimming pool offers a refreshing dip, although it can feel small during high season and more sun loungers would be welcome. Downsides include the presence of ants due to the forest location, limited facilities in the restaurant and bread service, and occasional noise disturbances in the evenings.

A wonderful campground and surrounding area if you enjoy:

    - a small-scale atmosphere
    - peace and quiet
    - comfortable mattresses in tent L14 (5-person tent)
    - minimal entertainment
    - a nice small pool without slides
    - lots of teenagers (not that I’m a fan, but they don’t bother me much since they head straight for the beach)
    - plenty of lounge chairs by the pool during peak season (shaded spots, on the grass)
    - beautiful little coves nearby (Illa Mateua Beach)
    - running along the boardwalk
    - snorkeling at Paradise Dive
    - dining at Mooma, Bretta, Vinilo Winebar, Sivana Bosc
    - having coffee at Coffee Time (l’Escala)
    - the market in Le Bisbal d’Emporda (that Jamón Ibérico > soooo delicious)
    - Barcelona! (book early at Canete)
    - Girona! (enjoy coffee and cake at La Fabrica)
    - Pals!
    - hiking (Komoot route; Aigua Xelida – Cala Aigua Xelida loop starting from Platja d'Aiguablava & Mateua Island Bay – Cala del Salpaig loop starting from l’Escala & From Sant Feliu de Guíxols to San Pol Beach—round trip via the Camí de Ronda)
    - Mas Oller winery

tip; outbound trip; stay at The Originals Boutique, Hotel Marmotel (drinks and tapas at Chez mon Oncle); return trip: stay at Les Quatre Peliers in Bourges (drinks and tapas at Completement Fume)

Very nice campsite. Good atmosphere, not the massive you can find a lot along the costa brava. Beautiful green, lovely location in a beautiful area. Suitable for young (up to about 16) and old. Camping is very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Many nice beaches in the area. We like to come back.

What a nice vacation we had here. The campsite is friendly, clean, quiet and many fun activities organized from the campsite. Because of this you quickly meet other guests which is very cozy. The plumbing is clean, never had them check the plumbing throughout the day. The only disadvantage is that the toilet and sink are in the same room. This can still be annoying if someone has long work with the personal care and therefore keeps a toilet occupied for a long time + in terms of hygiene brushing teeth in the toilet is not very fresh. But because of the good cleaning it is acceptable. The children had a great time despite the fact that many people come back more often, they had a good connection. The location of the campsite is perfect! 15 min walk to the bay with a fine beach! And many cozy villages beaches in the area. All in all it made us want to come back next year. We haven't seen the whole area yet and + the fine camping makes sure we don't want to look for anything else.

I had a nice stay here. The rooms are well-maintained, but there are ants—which is normal, I suppose—but they got into my bed. And if you speak Dutch, there are a lot of Dutch people here (and possibly Belgians, like me). It’s also surrounded by nature, and you can enjoy the view.
