    We stayed in a bungalow and although we book two nights, we only stayed one cause it was infected with ants. We had the worst night sleep ( or not) we had in our holidays. The beds were also extremely uncomfortable. The app for the washing machines was not working for us and when eventually the payment when through, there were not machines available. You could theoretically walk to the beach but it was a stroll in the forest on a path full of rocks that was not accesible for the pram and neither we dare to carry our babies down to the coast. So bear in mind if you are going with babies or toddlers.

    Camping in Cala Montgó. A few meters from the cove. It is the typical little marked place between plots, but with wonderful pine trees. Quite a lot of shade. Toilets acceptable. Restaurant only for breakfast. Reasonable prices. We would come back, we were amazed by this part of l'Escala.

    Camping en Cala Montgó. A pocos metros de la Cala. Es el típico lugar poco marcado entre parcelas, pero con unos pinos maravillosos. Bastante sombra. Lavabos aceptables. Restaurante solo desayunamos. Precios razonables. Volveríamos nos maravilló esa parte de la Escala.

    Lovely time at Punta Milà and would definitely return. Montgo tent was well appointed, comfortable and clean, although worth noting ants are a problem as on a nature reserve using chemicals to deal with ants is apparently not allowed. Swimming pool is good and generally very clean but always very busy - it didn't seem large enough for the size of the campsite. Restaurant serves a simple but tasty menu - Paella night and Gloria's local gastronomy night were very enjoyable and good value. Short walk to a lovely (but busy) beach, although path to the beach is unfortunately littered with dog (and human!) waste, but this path is not managed by Punta Milà so out of their control. Staff always helpful. Highly recommend Empuries and the beaches next to it.
