Summary created out of 191 reviews

The location near Cala Montgó is highlighted as the main strength, with the beautiful bay just a 5-10 minute walk away. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, and the pool is appreciated. At the same time, several visitors point to areas for improvement: cleanliness of sanitary facilities falls short, with low water pressure in showers and sometimes insufficient maintenance. Communication and pricing raise questions among various guests, as do the allocation and size of pitches and bungalows.

We chose this campground in advance based on the information available on its website, and we arrived with expectations that were quite different from the experience we ultimately had.

At the front desk, we were greeted by a young woman whose attitude struck us as unfriendly from the very beginning. Even before attending to us, she made a comment to another guest who had mentioned Madrid as a reference to a letter on his license plate, responding in a way that struck us as dismissive: “Not here—maybe with another name.” We believe that this type of comment is inappropriate in a customer service setting and made us feel uncomfortable.

Later, when we mentioned that we were traveling with our own tent, we were told that the campground did not offer that option. What surprised us was that we weren’t offered any alternatives either, such as using one of their own tents or finding a solution for our stay.

Overall, the service left us feeling as though we weren’t particularly welcome. We cannot say what the intention behind the treatment we received was, but we can say that the experience made us feel uncomfortable and that we perceived a difference from the kind of service we expected to find at a tourist establishment.

We believe that a reception should be characterized by friendliness, respect, and a willingness to find solutions, especially when a guest arrives at the establishment for the first time.

“There’s the Illa Mateua campground, just 50 meters away, which even has direct access to the cove, very friendly service, and really cool facilities”—100% Recommended

The campground is generally fine. The facilities are good... the location is great, since that's exactly what we were looking for to enjoy the area and go on some excursions.
However, there is one issue I think is important to point out, and it caused us quite a bit of inconvenience: upon our arrival, we were never informed that the pool and the bar would be closed during our stay.
We found out the next day, when we wanted to use these facilities. At the front desk, we were told that, since it was the off-season (September 14), they remained closed. I fully understand that during the off-season certain services may have different hours or may not be available at all, but I believe this information should be clearly communicated at check-in and before payment is processed, as it is a factor that can influence a person’s decision to stay or look for another option.
Had we known this upon arrival, we could have assessed the situation and freely decided whether we wanted to continue our stay under those conditions.
Furthermore, when we expressed our dissatisfaction, we were told that, if we wished, we could go to the neighboring campground—which belongs to the same establishment—to use its pool. The solution itself may be an alternative, but we weren’t informed of this possibility upon arrival either, and the way it was communicated to us didn’t seem appropriate.

Added to this is another detail: in the booking information we saw online, the total amount including taxes/VAT was listed, but the tourist tax was not clearly reflected in the final price shown to us. Upon arrival, we were charged an additional €9 for this fee, without having been clearly informed of that amount beforehand.
I’m not questioning whether the tourist tax should be paid; rather, I believe that the customer should be clearly and transparently informed of the total cost they will pay before arriving, including any additional charges
I would like to emphasize that, all things considered, the facilities—and especially the location—are great for enjoying this beautiful area, but I believe customer information must be clear and transparent before payment is made, especially when it comes to services that are part of the experience one expects to enjoy during their stay.
I hope you’ll take this into account for future guests and that other customers will have access to this information right from the start.

Be careful about leaving personal belongings on your campsite. After spending the day away, when I returned to my campsite at night, I found my table smashed to pieces, with tire tracks all over it. The campground isn't liable, but the worst part is that after I filed a complaint, they didn't even bother to respond to me.

We had a great time; the only thing is that the kids can't run around as freely because there's a lot of car traffic in the cabin area.
