You stay in a charming main cottage with an extra guest house in the garden – perfect if you’re traveling with two couples or a group that likes a bit of privacy. Outside you’ve got a spacious garden with plenty of outdoor furniture, sun loungers and a lovely cherry tree that gives the whole place a laid-back, holiday vibe. The terrace is ideal for long summer evenings with drinks, games and good conversations.

The sea is always close by here. A beautiful sandy beach is just 150 m from your door, so you can roll out of bed and go straight for a morning swim. Fancy a slightly larger beach and a bit more buzz? Lillöbadet is only 600 m away. Around little Oknö you’ll find scenic walking paths along the water – great for a quiet walk, a run, or a sunset stroll with the group.

Inside, the main house has a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, so cooking together is easy. The cozy living room has two sofas, including a large, comfy sofa bed. You’ll also find free WiFi and a Smart TV with Telia channels – perfect for a film night after a day at the beach. There’s a desk if someone needs to catch up on a bit of work, and a lovely fireplace for extra atmosphere on cooler evenings (bring your own firewood).

In the bedroom you sleep in a comfortable double bed, and in the guest house there’s another double bed, giving everyone enough space. There’s a toilet and shower of slightly older standard, but everything you need is there.

Oknö itself is all about nature and relaxation. There are several bathing spots and playgrounds, and at First Camp you’ll find a swimming area, restaurant, bike and boat rental and a small shop. A bathing spot with jumping tower is 1.6 km away, right next to the cozy Vass Oknö Krog.

If you feel like exploring, nearby Mönsterås offers shops, cafés and restaurants in a charming setting. Day trips to Öland, Kalmar with its castle and old town, Astrid Lindgren’s World in Vimmerby and the famous Glasriket glassworks are all within reach. This is the kind of place where you and your friends can truly unwind, be outside all day and still enjoy all the comforts of a real home.
