The staff are often praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the location offers a great base for exploring the surrounding area. However, there are concerns about the condition of the swimming pool, which is in urgent need of renovation, and about the overall cleanliness which does not always meet expectations.

This campground isn't worth the price. The restrooms are poorly maintained and unhygienic. At the brasserie, too, you had to get everything yourself, even though there were plenty of staff members. They call it a "
" Mini Market, but they don't have anything—not even a jar of jam.
    We'll never go back!

The park has a lot of potential. The outdoor playground is great. The indoor playground, on the other hand, is somewhat neglected and not well-maintained (balls are missing from the ball pit, kids had poured oil down the slide, and it apparently hadn’t been cleaned in a while). The swimming pool is very small and gets crowded after just two hours. Our vacation rental by the water was very nice. But it smelled musty everywhere, and the bathroom needs a complete renovation. We stayed there for two nights. It was sufficient for that. For a longer stay, it was far too small.

We stayed in a nice 6-person cottage (with 3 adults). The beds were fine (but bring your own pillows because they’re very soft), the bathroom was fairly new (no shower curtain or door, so everything gets soaking wet after a shower), and the kitchen was fine and had a dishwasher. The sofa and dining room chairs are due for an update, but that was the only thing in the cottage that wasn’t quite up to par, shall we say. The surroundings themselves were also very neat—a bit sparse in appearance but clean. The reception staff were also very helpful. But then there’s the center… what a joke….Mini-market… truly mini, indeed. The restaurant had absolutely no atmosphere—it was like eating in some kind of barracks. The waitstaff there weren’t exactly the sharpest tools in the shed either. The snack bar was fine, but ridiculously expensive. The pool was small but decent. The lake was great, of course… when the weather’s nice (and it wasn’t really). And well… everything closes at 8 p.m. Boom, that’s it… nothing left to do. The only fun thing left was the pool table (€2.00 per game, twice), but that wasn’t allowed after 9:30 p.m. either.
Well, there you are with two older kids who’d like to do something in the evening…All in all, we left two days early because it was getting really boring playing Yahtzee every night. Too bad, but we won’t be going back to Europarcs next time.

Snackbar was prima alleen loei-duur.
