Looking for a relaxed nature break in Belgian Limburg? Het Hertenbos is a cosy 2-bedroom chalet in Lanklaar, ideal for a small family or a group of up to 4 people. With a fully fenced garden, terrace and swing set, it’s a great choice if you’re travelling with kids – and your dog is welcome too.

Inside, you’ll find a warm and inviting living room with a gas stove, satellite TV and radio. After a day outside, curl up on the sofa with a drink and enjoy a quiet evening together. The accommodation is basically but fully equipped and suitable for a stay surrounded by nature. Guests appreciate the quiet location in the middle of the woods with walking routes starting at the doorstep. Points for attention are the beds which could be better, the shower which needs renovation, and a slight musty smell on arrival that disappears after airing.

    After a long drive, we arrived late; everything was ready, and it was quiet enough to get some rest. The separate toilet with a sink made our mornings run smoothly. The clean bathroom contributed to a pleasant stay.

    The stay exceeded my expectations considering the price. The chalet felt cozy, with a gas fireplace and satellite TV in the living room. The kitchen had everything I needed, including a microwave and a coffee maker. I especially appreciated the enclosed garden and the patio, where I could relax outdoors after exploring the nearby area.

    Het verblijf overtrof mijn verwachtingen gezien de prijs. Het chalet voelde gezellig aan met een gaskachel en satelliet-tv in de woonkamer. De keuken had alles wat nodig was, inclusief magnetron en koffiezetapparaat. Ik waardeerde ook vooral de afgesloten tuin en het terras waar je buiten kon relaxen na uitstapjes dichtbij.

    Beautiful surroundings! The cottage is really in the middle of the woods with nice hiking trails starting at the door. For those who love peace and nature really a must!!! Even with 2 young children there is more than enough to do in the area.

    Prachtige omgeving! Het huisje is echt midden in de bossen met leuke wandelroutes die voor de deur beginnen. Voor wie van rust en natuur houd echt een aanrader!! Ook met 2 jonge kinderen is er in de omgeving meer dan genoeg te doen.
