In the natural surroundings, you will find endless cycling and walking routes. Less than 2 km from the glamping is the urban nature reserve Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen. This park, which covers 220 hectares, has three hiking trails that take you past beautiful green nature with meadows and forest areas. Tens of thousands of birds perch in this area every year. There are special bird-watching huts along the way where you can spot the most beautiful birds undisturbed.

Renovation works are ongoing: new sanitary blocks are modern and clean, but older blocks urgently need refurbishment. Many visitors complain about muddy pitches after rain, noise pollution from the nearby motorway, and electrical hook-ups located too far away requiring extra-long cables.

    It has been a number of years since I last camped here and have to say it is a lovely place to camp now. The shower block is modern and clean and the staff are brilliant. I will most certainly be back

    Great spot for campers, caravans, and camping.
    Transportation via the P+R service costs 0.15 euros per person for 48 hours, right outside the campground, to the main train station. Instructions—including a QR code on the campground map—are also great... It’s best to get off at St. Jacobs; from there, it’s just a good 5 minutes to the city center.

    It’s a shame—when we arrived, the beds hadn’t been made, the cleaning left a lot to be desired, and the dishwasher hadn’t been emptied. At 6 p.m., we were given sheets and told to change them ourselves. A man told us he’d provide us with bikes for the next day and that he’d check with the manager, or that in any case he’d make it up to us—but the next day, someone else wouldn’t do anything for us. This is really disappointing!

    Dommage nous arrivons les lits ne sont pas changé, le ménage laisse à désirer et le lave vaisselle n’est pas vider le soir à 18h on nous donne des draps et on nous dit de les changer nous même. Un monsieur nous dit que il nous offre des vélo pour le lendemain et qu’il voit avec ça responsable ou que dans tout les cas il nous ferait un geste, et le lendemain une autre personne ne veux plus rien nous faire. Cela laisse vraiment à désiré!

    We stayed here for one night in our VW California. The welcome was warm, and the entire campground is very well maintained. There are three restroom buildings, one of which is brand new. Even the older restroom buildings are very well maintained and clean. The price includes access to the swimming lake and the surrounding recreational facilities. It’s a 12-minute bike ride to Ghent. Highly recommended!

    Wir waren für einen Nacht mit unserem VW California hier. Der Empfang war herzlich und der gesamte Campingplatz ist toll gepflegt. Es gibt 3 Sanitärgebäude, eines davon ist nagelneu. Auch die älteren Sanitärhäuser sind top gepflegt und sauber. Im Preis inkludiert ist die Nutzung des Badesees und der Freizeitanlagen rundherum. Mit dem Rad ist man in 12 Minuten in Gent. Absolute Empfehlung!
