General information

During your glamping vacation you will stay with up to 5 people in a very spacious safari tent. This way you camp entirely in style, equipped with all comforts. The attractive and luxurious safari tent is fully equipped with inventory, furniture and features a fantastic kitchen.

To make luxury glamping accessible and affordable for everyone, this safari tent is not equipped with plumbing. But it does have air conditioning and heating!

Each safari tent is equipped with a wooden veranda and luxury lounge set under a spacious awning, so you can sit outside regardless of the weather. The canvas between the veranda and the living area can be partially or completely raised at your discretion, creating even more living space: maximum enjoyment of the outdoors while still covered. Inside you will find a comfortable kitchen with a refrigerator with freezer compartment, table, chairs and a closet for all your vacation outfits.

In this luxury safari tent there are standard five sleeping places: 1x double bed (1.60 x 2.00), 1x double bed (1.40 x 2.00) and 1x single bed (0.80 x 2.00). Comforters and pillows are of course standard when you go glamping. Under sheets, comforter covers and pillowcases you need to bring your own or can easily be rented. You can also rent the baby kit, consisting of a safe crib and a sturdy high chair.

    Cancellation or change of booking


    Reservations can only be cancelled in writing.

    Cancellation fees:

    • For cancellations up to 60 days prior to arrival, no fee will be charged.
    • Cancellations between 60 and 28 days prior to arrival in the accommodation will be charged 60% of the travel fee.
    • Cancellations between 27 and 1 day before arrival in the tent will be charged 90% of the travel price.
    • Cancellations on the day of arrival at the accommodation will be charged in full.

    For changes made within 5 days of the booking date, the costs as stated in article 3 paragraph 1 may be waived by agreement

    The main booker can request changes to reservations up to 8 weeks before arrival at the accommodation. The change fee, if agreed, is €25.

    Changes involving partial cancellation are subject to the cancellation conditions for that part.

    If the reserved period is extended during the stay at the campsite, you must pay for the additional stay at the campsite, according to the prices listed on the website. No claim can be made to any offers.

    We recommend that you purchase cancellation insurance at the time of booking. The premium is 5.5% of the travel sum, € 3.50 policy cost and 21% insurance tax (on premium and policy cost).

    The following payment terms are applicable

    • Your deposit when booking is only 20% (payable within 7 days of booking).
    • 56 days before arrival you only need to pay the remaining payment (80%).
    • Important: when booking within 60 days before arrival at the accommodation, the entire travel sum must be paid immediately.

    A very disappointing experience—absolutely not recommended

    We had reserved a campsite by phone and were explicitly told that everything had been arranged. Based on that assurance, we drove to the campground.
    After a long trip, we arrived around 8:00 p.m. with our two-year-old child, who was also sick. To our great surprise, we were told that the campground was fully booked and that there was no spot for us at all.
    This is unacceptable. When a reservation is confirmed by phone, you should be able to trust that it will be honored. Instead, we were left to fend for ourselves, standing in front of a closed door with a sick young child. There was hardly any effort to help us or offer a suitable solution.
    This way of treating guests is highly unprofessional and shows little sense of responsibility or customer-friendliness. As a result, we experienced a great deal of stress and inconvenience.
    Based on this experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend Camping Stella Maris at all.

    Zeer teleurstellende ervaring – absoluut geen aanrader

    Wij hadden telefonisch een kampeerplek gereserveerd en kregen expliciet te horen dat alles geregeld was. Op basis van die toezegging zijn wij naar de camping gereden.
    Na een lange reis kwamen wij rond 20.00 uur aan met ons tweejarige kind, dat ook nog eens ziek was. Tot onze grote verbazing kregen we te horen dat de camping volgeboekt was en dat er helemaal geen plek voor ons was.
    Dit is onacceptabel. Als een reservering telefonisch wordt bevestigd, mag je erop vertrouwen dat die wordt nagekomen. In plaats daarvan werden wij aan ons lot overgelaten, terwijl we met een ziek jong kind voor een gesloten deur stonden. Er werd nauwelijks meegedacht of een passende oplossing aangeboden.
    Deze manier van omgaan met gasten is zeer onprofessioneel en getuigt van weinig verantwoordelijkheid of klantvriendelijkheid. Wij hebben hierdoor veel stress en ongemak ervaren.
    Op basis van deze ervaring kunnen wij Camping Stella Maris helaas absoluut niet aanbevelen.
