This popular 900-kilometer bicycle route along the Loire River in France goes from Cuffy (near Nevers) to Saint-Brevin-les-Pins (near Nantes). A 10-minute drive from the glamping is Gien. Something that immediately stands out is the imposing castle. Not only can it be admired from the outside, you can also take a look inside. Inside the castle you will find a museum. Here you can learn more about hunting, nature and the history of the Loire region. Afterwards, walk along the river, and end your day on a waterside terrace.
The Pont Canal de Briare
The Briare Aqueduct spans the Loire River and was designed by French engineer Gustave Eiffel, best known for designing the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The canal bridge is 662 meters long and is considered one of Eiffel's greatest engineering achievements. You can view or explore its unique design and engineering on a boat tour.

Loue a 80% a des club de billard en hors saison prend un max de pognon mais ca les fais chier, tres desagreable... vigil pas sympa,.menacant Alors arreter de louer au billard et loué a vos 3 camping car pour etre tranquille ou choisissez le billard et personne de plus... on choisit quand on est honnete Nous venons depuis 20 ans et tres decu depuis 2 3 ans... Mooie omgeving, relaxte camping met allerlei verschillende plekken en huisjes! Privé sanitair is top, ruime plek. Lekker gegeten op het terrasje van het bescheiden restaurantje.

Le camping est très vieillissant mais calme propre, boisé avec de bonnes infrastructures Néanmoins la partie restauration est de piètre qualité. Je conseille vivement à la gérante de tester les pizzas. Concernant l’emplacement (GRAND LUXE) Mis à part la belle superficie, les photos parlent d’elles mêmes. Nous sommes venus passer le temps d'un week-end dans ce charmant camping. Idéal pour les enfants avec les piscines pataugeoire vraiment adaptées pour les petits Pour les adultes, dommage que nous n'ayons pas pu profiter de la grande piscine intérieure pour faire des longueurs. Faute de surveillance elle est pleine d'ado et d'enfants qui empêchent l'accès au bassin et au petit jacuzzi. Pourtant la grande piscine extérieure est faite pour eux. Les piscines ouvrent tard. 10h pour des baignades sans surveillance c'est dommage. Les chalets sont propres et agréables mais les équipements restent plus que sommaires. Même pas une passoire pour des pâtes et un économe en fin de vie... La partie restaurant n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur. C'est cher, long et pas exceptionnel. Le cadre reste cependant agréable. Nous reviendrons pour un court séjour sans doute hors saison pour profiter davantage des infrastructures mais en évitant la partie restaurant.
