Camping Seasonova L'Etang des Bois

Along the 🚲 bike path, this campground is a wonderful discovery. The welcome was impeccable, and the service was flawless. The breakfasts were very hearty and served right at our unit. A very beautiful campground, quiet and set in a truly magnificent setting. The campsites are very pleasant and well-shaded under the trees, which is really nice. There’s also a pond for swimming—it’s pretty clean and very pleasant. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. We really enjoyed our stay! 😊

. This campground is quiet and relaxing.

A quiet campground. Beautiful lake with various activities. Only the restrooms were terrible. I’m 1.57, but even I had my knees up to my neck. And no, I wasn’t accidentally sitting on the kids’ toilet—they were all that small. A nice lady did clean it, but because there were so many leaks (from the toilets and sinks) and the floors were sloped the wrong way, everything was constantly wet and therefore dirty. When people were showering, your feet would get wet while you were sitting on the toilet. You could actually see the shower water flowing into your stall. There were two restroom areas during our entire stay; in one of them, only the men’s section was open—they said the women’s section was broken. So there were only four toilets for all the women and girls on the entire campground. The showers were incredibly hot (and I usually shower with fairly warm water anyway), and the water pressure was so strong that you were almost sprayed right out of the stall.

An exceptional campsite. The campsite has a simple charm with basic amenities. Its location it what makes it really stand out. Pick a camping pitch at the far end among the trees and enjoy a peaceful and shady camp.

The lake next to the campsite is a hidden gem. You can swim and paddleboard and have fun on the inflatable structure for a very reasonable price.

We stayed a whole week and may use it again in future as a weekend stopover.

The campsite has a recent change of management and is really short staffed resulting in less clean toilets and overdue weeding. However we were amazed by the kindness of the staff and the wish to make improvements despite everyone being overworked making long hours. Also the Etang is amazing with lots of activities to offer and the restaurant very reasonable. Our little kids enjoyed the mini golf, playground and the goats on the camping as well.
