General information

This tastefully decorated safari tent, with standing room in the entire tent, features a lovely spacious terrace with awning. Under the awning is a lounge set with a low seat and in the living area a high table with chairs that can all be easily moved.

The completely equipped kitchen has a four-burner thermally protected gas stove and is on wheels that can be moved outside, so you can enjoy cooking outside!

In the back of the tent are two sleeping cabins, one of which has a double bed and the other has two bunk beds.

There are no sanitary facilities in the safari tents and there is no running water. However, there is electricity and lighting in the sleeping cabins, living area and under the awning.

    A lovely French campground, just as you’d expect. A nice café/restaurant, great play areas, beautiful green, spacious sites, and delicious pastries in the morning. Friendly service and helpful information. Although the pool is very cold, I can imagine it’s a nice addition on very hot days. The restrooms downstairs are fine, but upstairs they’re … really outdated: looking up at asbestos panels from a squat toilet doesn’t exactly give you that vacation feeling. The surrounding area is nice, with charming villages and supermarkets nearby. However, if you’re coming to hike or bike, this isn’t the best spot—the campground is located on a busy and very steep road, and we weren’t able to find any particularly nice hiking trails that start right from the campground. All in all, we had a very nice stay!

    Een fijne Franse camping zoals je mag verwachten. Leuk cafe/restaurant, fijne speelplekken en mooie groene, ruime plekken en heerlijke broodjes in de ochtend. Vriendelijke service en informatie. Hoewel het zwembad erg koud is kan ik me voorstellen dat dit op erg hete dagen een fijne toevoeging is. Het sanitair beneden is prima, maar boven is het echt niet meer van deze tijd: vanaf een hurktoilet omhoog kijken naar asbestplaten geeft niet echt een vakantiegevoel. De omgeving is leuk met gezellige dorpjes en supermarkten dichtbij. Echter, kom je om te wandelen of te fietsen dan zit je hier niet voordelig, de camping ligt aan een drukke en hele stijle weg en wij hebben niet echt mooie wandelroutes kunnen vinden die je vanaf de camping kunt starten. Al met al een heel fijn verblijf gehad!
