    The spot I was given, 6 meters from the busy street, was very uneven, and even with ramps, it wasn’t exactly easy to manage. Many RVs were parked there instead of people who were actually camping. I suspect this campground is often used by RV owners who want to park their RVs safely and then stay overnight somewhere else in the city. Public transportation is available, but it’s better to bring an electric bike to get to the metro station.

    De plaats die ik kreeg op 6m van de drukke straat was zeer oneffen en zelf met oprijblokken was het nog niet super goed te doen. Veel campers stonden er eerder geparkeerd in plaats van mensen die er echt kampeerden. Ik vermoed dat deze camping vaak word gebruik met mensen met een camper die hun camper veilig willen stellen en dan ergens in de stad blijven slapen. Verder is aansluitng van het OV te doen maar neem je beter een elektrische fiets mee om tot aan het metro station te geraken.

    A very nice campsite on the outskirts of Paris. Staff were generally charming. But….be warned that if you intend to travel into Central Paris, neither the campsite’s shuttle bus nor the Paris buses accept dogs. This turned out to be a problem for us, though it’s not the fault of the campsite. You can take dogs on the Metro, but the nearest station is a bus ride away. Rather surprised that few if any other reviews mention this…

    The site is about a 9-minute walk from a bus stop. A day pass is available online for €12.50. However, the well-intentioned shuttle to the M1 metro (€2) is hardly worth it, since from there you have to continue by public transportation and buy another ticket.

    The grounds are quite bumpy, and the campsites aren’t always level. You can level … out your vehicle with chocks, but you’ll need to be willing to compromise a bit.

    The restrooms aren’t easily accessible from every campsite, but they are clean. There’s a small supermarket on the grounds with the essentials, as well as a restaurant.

    Booking online is completely hassle-free. If you register your license plate, you don’t need a PIN: The gate opens automatically via license plate recognition after you’ve checked in in person at the front desk.

    Note to the operators: I overheard at the front desk how a family listed their three children as being significantly younger than they actually were, apparently to save money. This is unfair to the campground and the other guests. It might be worth taking a closer look during check-in.

    Der Platz liegt ca. 9 Minuten einer Bushaltestelle entfernt. Eine Tageskarte gibt es online für 12,50 €. Der gut gemeinte Shuttle zur Metro M1 (2 €) lohnt sich allerdings kaum, denn ab dort muss man mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln weiterfahren und noch einmal ein Ticket kaufen.

    Das Gelände ist recht holprig, und die Stellplätze sind nicht immer eben. Mit Keilen lässt sich das ausgleichen, ein wenig Kompromissbereitschaft gehört aber dazu.

    Die Sanitäranlagen sind nicht von jedem Stellplatz aus schnell erreichbar, dafür aber sauber. Auf dem Platz gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt mit dem Wichtigsten sowie ein Restaurant.

    Die Buchung funktioniert online völlig problemlos. Wer sein Kennzeichen hinterlegt, braucht keinen PIN: Die Schranke öffnet sich dank Kennzeichenerkennung automatisch nachdem man sich persönlich in der Rezeption angemeldet hat.

    Hinweis an die Betreiber: Ich habe an der Rezeption mitbekommen, wie eine Familie ihre drei Kinder deutlich jünger angegeben hat, als sie tatsächlich waren, offenbar um Kosten zu sparen. Das ist unfair gegenüber dem Platz und den anderen Gästen. Vielleicht lohnt es sich, bei der Anmeldung etwas genauer hinzuschauen.
