Great campsite. Ideally situated with an easy 10min walk into Sarlat, albeit, with a bit of a climb back up.
Our camping pitch was well placed under a large tree and prived a welcome shade from the 40° heat.
Fantastic area for exploring on a bike with nice quiet country back roads.

We appreciated several things during our stay. The campground is surrounded by nature, which is very pleasant. The birdsong and the rabbits create a real sense of calm and a change of scenery. The accommodation was clean when we arrived, and we’d also like to thank the staff for their warm welcome: we arrived late and were kindly guided to our accommodation without any trouble. The proximity to downtown is also a plus.

On the other hand, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The heat in the wooden cabins is very hard to bear in the summer. Despite the presence of a fan, the cabin remained extremely hot. Air conditioning or a system to better cool the cabin would be greatly appreciated.

We also noticed that the pool liner is a bit worn, with a seam sticking out on the side.

Finally, the most disappointing aspect was the lack of respect shown by some campers. With no caretaker or security guard on site, we were subjected to loud music and noise until 3:40 a.m. Between the heat in the cabin and the noise, we had a very hard time sleeping and, unfortunately, didn’t leave feeling well-rested.

It’s a shame, because the setting and the hospitality are truly pleasant, but a few improvements would make the stay much more comfortable.

Very pleasant and well-located, close to downtown (less than a 10-minute walk). The campground has everything you’d expect for this level of service. The staff is really friendly and attentive to even the smallest concerns. They even bake their own bread and croissants. It was truly great—we’ll be back. A big thank you to the whole team. 😘

Vraiment super, on reviendra. Merci beaucoup à toute l'équipe. 😘
