Step inside this Sweet Wood & Canvas tent, situated on a solid wooden floor and ready to offer you a comfortable and cozy stay! These spacious tents are fully equipped, including a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet for that extra bit of comfort.

The Sweet model even features a sink in the kitchen, giving you even more convenience while cooking and washing dishes. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, refrigerator, two-burner stove and plenty of storage space for all your supplies and dishes.

The tent has two separate bedrooms, separated by a hallway for added privacy. One bedroom is adjacent to the living room and has a comfortable double bed (140x200). The other bedroom, adjacent to the corridor, has three single beds, including a bunk bed, perfect for families or groups of friends.

Relax and enjoy the natural surroundings while taking advantage of all the amenities these Sweet Wood & Canvas tents have to offer. With an area of 25 m², there is enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy an unforgettable stay!

    This is a large campground outside Saumur in “the middle of nowhere,” surrounded by trees in a forest. It’s about 9 kilometers from Saumur. The campground offers a stunning view of the Loire River from behind the bar. People with an ACSI card can’t camp just anywhere, but have a choice of a limited number of sites. If you want other sites, you’ll have to pay extra. There’s a small bar where you can generally only order simple items, such as pizzas. However, the dining area was closed. As a side note: a glass of wine costs €6 at the bar. When I told the receptionist that I know from personal experience that this is very expensive for a campground bar, he thought that €6 for a glass of wine was cheap. If you continue to insist this to customers despite that, then you don’t quite get it. The staff are otherwise very friendly and consist mainly of young students. Free Wi-Fi is only available around the reception area. There’s a bread service.
    There are two swimming pools: an outdoor pool and an indoor pool. The restroom facility is located next to the reception desk and is luxurious.
    Bread can be ordered at the reception desk, where there’s also a Wi-Fi zone.
    There are no water hookups at the campsites; only behind our spot is there a push-button faucet with a very weak stream. This is really inconvenient. It therefore takes quite a bit of effort to fill a caravan’s fresh water tank.
    For those seeking peace and quiet, this is a great campground for one or more days.

    Dit is een grote camping buiten Saumur in ‘the middle of nowhere’, volop met bomen, in een bos. De afstand tot Saumur is ongeveer 9 kilometer. De camping heeft achter de bar een schitterend uitzicht over de Loire. De mensen met een ACSI kaart kunnen niet overal kamperen, maar hebben de keuze uit een beperkt aantal plaatsen. Wil je andere plaatsen, dan moet je bijbetalen. Er is een barretje, waar je in principe alleen simpele dingen kunt bestellen, zoals pizza’s. Het eetgedeelte was echter gesloten. Ter aanvulling: een glas wijn kost bij de bar € 6. Toen ik aan de receptie medewerker vertelde dat ik uit eigen ervaring weet dat dit voor een campingbar heel duur is, vond hij dat € 6 voor een glas wijn goedkoop was. Als je dit desondanks tegenover klanten blijft volhouden, dan begrijp je het niet helemaal. De medewerkers zijn verder heel erg vriendelijk en bestaan voornamelijk uit jonge studenten. Gratis wifi is alleen rondom de receptie. Er is broodservice.
    Er zijn twee zwembaden, een buitenbad en een overdekt binnenbad. Het sanitair blok ligt naast de receptie en is luxe.
    Brood kan bij de receptie worden besteld en daar is ook een wifi zone.
    Bij de plaatsen zijn geen wateraansluitingen, alleen achter onze plek een drukknop kraantje met een minimaal straaltje. Dit is echt storend. Het kost dus de nodig moeite om een schoonwatertank van een caravan te vullen.
    Voor de rustzoekers een prima camping voor één of meerdere dagen.
