Comfortable 6-persons glamping tent

The accommodation Glamping! This is the atmosphere and freedom of camping, but with the comfort of a hotel! The 4 luxury six-person tents all have their own kitchen, 3 bedrooms with box spring beds and a full bathroom. These luxury safari tents are located along the canoe pond on a small vacation park. The front of the tents can be completely unzipped so that you can walk out onto the deck terrace with comfortable scaffoldwood lounche sofas and have an unobstructed view of the pond. The tents have scaffolding wood furniture and the kitchen is also made of scaffolding wood. Two bedrooms have 2 separate box spring beds (which of course can also be put together) and there is a box bed for 2 people. The tents have a luxurious bathroom unit with comfortable shower (with hot water, of course), hanging toilet and bathroom cabinet. In all tents there are gas heaters that provide pleasant warmth when it cools down a bit in the evening.

The vacation park The accommodations are located in the yard of a former farm. The sports fields (volleyball court, soccer field and tennis court) are free for everyone to use. There are also several exciting play equipment for small children. Especially popular are the go-karts and canoes. There is also a covered area with various playground equipment in the yard.

Additional services such as beer tap rental, catering, barbecue rental and outdoor activities are also offered.

Surroundings The small-scale vacation park Eigen Wijze is located on the border of Overijssel, Flevoland and Friesland. The park is located on the edge of the 1100-hectare Kuinderbos, where you can enjoy hiking, cycling and horseback riding on the bridle paths. The location of the vacation park offers plenty of opportunities for various tourist trips. A visit to one of the old Zuiderzee villages such as Lemmer, Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Urk is definitely worthwhile. The Frisian lakes and forests of Gaasterland are also within a half-hour drive from the park.

In the north of Overijssel are the wetlands, called the Weerribben (national nature park) and the Wieden. Slightly above that is the Rottige Meenthe. Together, these areas form a large low moorland area created by peat extraction in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. The area is largely open to the public. You can canoe, bike or walk there. A visit to the visitor center in Sint Jansklooster or in Ossenzijl is also worthwhile. The town of Giethoorn also deserves extra attention. Giethoorn, with its many canals, bridges and lakes, has been called the Venice of the North.
