Water fun on the IJsselmeer, IJmeer and Markermeer lakes

With a location near the Markermeer, IJmeer and IJsselmeer, a day on or in the water cannot be missed when you stay at glamping Marina Parcs Almere. Rent a canoe, surfboard or sup at the glamping and get out on the water! Would you like to explore the lakes with a sailboat? Then it is possible to take sailing lessons around the lakes! Take a boat or canoe to Nature Island 't Hooft in the IJmeer, and take a walk on this uninhabited island. Bring your swimwear, as there are also some beaches where you can swim. Is the sun going down? Then it's time to leave the island again.

Discover National Park Nieuw Land

A 15-minute drive from the glamping is National Park Nieuw Land, the youngest national park in the Netherlands. Part of this park are the Oostvaardersplassen, the Marker Wadden, the Lepelaarplassen and the Markermeer. In addition to grazers such as horses and deer, you will also encounter many unusual birds here. While flying from far north to Africa, many birds make a stop here, and since 2006 even the bald eagle can be spotted here! Take walks through the wetlands, along the rugged grassy plains and forests. In this wetland you will find complete peace and quiet. Go out by yourself and follow one of the hiking trails, or choose to go into nature with a guide from the Forestry Commission.

Excursions to Naarden and Muiden

Whether the weather is good or bad, children here will have fun both outside and inside on playground equipment and attractions.

Looking at art at Singer Laren

Alternate a day of nature for a day of art at Museum Singer Laren. After a 15-minute drive, you reach the museum full of modern art. From expressionism to cubism, the different styles are reflected here. De locatie is prachtig. Het inchecken met slagboom werkt goed. Faciliteiten waren prima.
