Summary created out of 218 reviews

The park enjoys a beautiful location directly opposite the Hoge Veluwe National Park, highly appreciated by guests for hiking and cycling. The grounds are green and well-maintained with several playgrounds, indoor and outdoor pools, a restaurant, and bike rental. However, many guests report serious shortcomings in cleanliness: cobwebs, dust, dirty bathrooms, mould, and sometimes even pests. Additionally, numerous visitors complain about constant traffic noise from the nearby motorway and N311, which disrupts the peace and nature experience. Staff receive mixed reviews—some friendly and helpful, others disinterested or hard to reach.

A bit of a letdown. The park was fairly green, with lots of trees, but there wasn’t much privacy at the chalet. You were completely exposed when sitting outside. The interior of the chalet was bare, not very well cleaned, and had a total Ikea vibe. The ladies at the front desk were distant and not very welcoming. I didn’t think it was worth the price we had to pay. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We had rented a mobile home; at first glance, it looked very clean… but upon closer inspection, not so much. There was a lot of dust and dirt in the corners and on the cabinets.
The cabinets in the bedroom smelled veeeery musty, so much so that it woke us up…
The bed was too small for our liking, and the sagging mattresses caused back pain and prevented the restful sleep you hope for on vacation…
The shower could definitely use a bit more water pressure.

The outdoor area, in particular, was well-maintained; the playgrounds could use a bit of a refresh, and the broken items should be repaired.

The highlight, however, was a mouse—or maybe two, I’m not sure—that gained access to our stored food at night via the cabinet where the heater and other appliances were located.
Things like that can happen, of course, but the cabinet didn’t just have mouse droppings from one or two nights—there were traces from several weeks or even months… you can’t miss that.
We reported it to the front desk twice, but well, nothing happened.

All in all, we wouldn’t spend a second vacation there. Maybe we just had bad luck with the accommodations.

Our House V055 is very nicely furnished and cozy. Unfortunately, there’s no place to hang a towel in the separate restroom. It really wouldn’t be a problem at all to stick a hook on the wall—it’s a shame. Also, unfortunately, there’s no hair dryer. But what we missed the most were lounge chairs. When you’re here in the summer when it’s over 30 degrees, like we were, it would be absolutely lovely to be able to lie down in the garden and read a book, for example. There are chairs, but they’re pretty uncomfortable to sit on for long periods.
Unfortunately, you have to pay an entrance fee (about €14 per person!) just to go for a walk in the nature reserve. We’ve never seen anything like that before. As a result, the immediate surroundings are, unfortunately, much less suitable for dog owners like us than we expected. We ended up driving out there every time. There are great parks for walking dogs in the direction of Arnhem.

A beautiful park in a lovely location with plenty to do nearby.

The accommodations were so clean they looked brand new.

This was my first visit to this park.
For a midweek stay costing €950.00, you’d think you could expect a bit more.
We rented a 4-person Cube Exclusif.
The cottages are very close together.
The kitchen layout isn’t practical—the oven is at knee height. There isn’t enough dishware for four people.
And the maintenance is just so-so; see the photos.
The cottage also heats up quickly, and leaving the windows open at night isn’t an option either. You can hear the noise from the A12.
So the bottom line is, we won’t be booking a cottage at this park again.

They just wanted to grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. But they left again. The atmosphere wasn't very welcoming.
