Tiny House - 4 persons

We rented a Forest Lounge here for a few days. The accommodation was clean and fully equipped. We had a unit without air conditioning, but I don’t think you can really get by without it when temperatures rise.

The location of the Forest Lounges is also great; the “backyard” borders a small island with a playground and a waterfall. That last … part was especially nice, because the sound of the waterfall masked the noise from traffic on the main road/highway. You can actually hear that traffic quite clearly in many parts of the park.

The ladies at the front desk were great; they even called to let us know that our accommodation was available earlier than 4:00 p.m. The front desk also has a small shop for any forgotten groceries, and you can pick up fresh pastries there in the morning. There’s also bike rental.

I can’t comment on the swimming pools or other facilities, as we didn’t use them during our visit.

The park’s location is also ideal—the entrance to De Hoge Veluwe National Park is literally right across the street. Read more Show less

There are bugs crawling around the farmhouse along the walls near the doors; the garden is dirty and there’s no umbrella. I’ll stick it out for 5 more days—I’ve found another place to live. The garden is still dirty and there’s no umbrella. On the third day, the cleaners came; I was gone for 2 minutes, and nothing had been touched. Sorry, but you’ll never see me here again.

Cleaners aren't given enough time to do their jobs properly

We strongly advise against booking Exclusif 6, House A17. The smell in this house was awful! The stench was so strong that it had even seeped into the mattresses. Because of this, we had two terrible nights and had to sleep with a constant foul odor.
