Nunspeet

Nunspeet, an authentic artists' village, has attracted artists since the beginning of the last century who wanted to capture the landscape and the farming community on canvas. Day on the water

Veluwemeer is in the midst of beautiful nature and there is plenty to do! Board a boat and feel the refreshing breeze through your hair as you look out over the glistening surface of the water. Maybe throw out a fishing rod and go fishing in hopes of landing a big catch. For the adventurous spirits, there's windsurfing, sailing or kayaking to get your adrenaline flowing. Or just relax on a paddleboat and paddle quietly around, enjoying the peace and serenity of the lake. During your day on Veluwe Lake, you can pause on one of the many islands and picnic under the shade of the trees. You can also dock at cozy harbor towns such as Harderwijk or Elburg.

Day in Harderwijk

A day at Harderwijk (13 km) guarantees a mix of history, culture and fun on the Dutch coast. Start in the bustling center, where cozy streets and historic buildings greet you. Here you will find countless stores, boutiques and eateries to explore. A highlight of Harderwijk is the famous Dolfinarium, where dolphins and seals are the stars of the show. For history buffs, the old city wall, vischpoort and City Museum offer insight into the city's rich history. And then there is the beautiful Wolderwijdmeer, perfect for relaxing walks along the boardwalk or a refreshing swim on hot days. Not to be forgotten is Harderwijk's vibrant culinary scene, where you can enjoy delicious seafood at the many seafood restaurants along the harbor.

    Everyone is very friendly, and the entire complex is neat and clean.
    However, the cleanliness of the accommodations themselves leaves something to be desired. Because of the Defqon Festival a few weeks before our visit, we found something unpleasant in our house. I don’t want to go into details here. God knows what would have happened if our child or dog had found it.
    The manager gave us a voucher and apologized. The voucher is intended for the local restaurant on the premises. However, you can’t really call it a restaurant. The menu is very basic and more reminiscent of a snack bar—which is right next door and serves the same dishes—and the opening hours are rather odd.
    The distance to the water and the surrounding towns is very convenient, and everything is easily accessible.

    Oh, and the beach at the back is a joke, unfortunately. Overall, we’re relatively satisfied with the value for money.

    Alle sind sehr freundlich und die Anlage ist im gesamten Recht ordentlich und sauber.
    Die sauber Keith der Unterkünfte selbst lässt jedoch zu wünschen übrig. Durch das Defqon Festival einige Wochen vor unserem Besuch haben wir etwas unschönes in unserem Haus gefunden. Was genau möchte ich hier nicht drauf eingehen. Gott weiß was passiert wäre wenn unser Kind oder Hund das gefunden hätten.
    Die Managerin hat uns einen Gutschein übergeben und eine Entschuldigung ausgesprochen. Der Gutschein ist für das örtliche Restaurant gedacht in der Anlage. Dieses kann man jedoch nicht wirklich als solches bezeichnen. Die Speisekarte ist sehr wörtlich und erinnert eher an einen Imbiss, der auch nebenan ist und die gleichen Gerichte hat und die Öffnungszeiten sind sehr eigenartig gewählt.
    Die Entfernung zum Wasser und den umliegenden Ortschaften ist sehr angenehm und alles ist sehr gut erreichbar.

    Achso der hindestrand ist auch ein Witz, leider. Im großen und ganzen sind wir mit Preis leistungs Verhältnis relativ zufrieden.

    Pavillon Waterfront 6. Great house. You can live with the cleanliness as long as you don’t look for flaws with a magnifying glass and nitpick every little thing. The garden was overgrown, but after we mentioned it, they spruced it up the next morning. The cleaning staff also stopped by on the second day to ask if everything was okay—perfect. The dog beach is absolutely not recommended—it’s dirty and tiny—but there’s a great fenced-in off-leash area instead. A restroom at the entrance would be great, since the one at the outdoor pool is absolutely filthy. The outdoor pool is very well maintained. Dogs aren’t allowed on the beach—which is a real shame. All in all, we spent four wonderful nights there. The staff is incredibly helpful and very, very nice.

    Pavillon Waterfront 6. Tolles Haus. Mit der Sauberkeit kann man leben, wenn man nicht mit der Lupe sucht und an jeder Kleinigkeit rumnörgelt. Garten war zwar verwildert, aber wurde nach bescheid sagen am nächsten Morgen chic gemacht. Reinigungsdienst kam auch am zweiten Tag um zu fragen ob alles ok sei, perfekt. Der Hundestrand ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen, dreckig und winzig, dafür aber ein super eingezäunter Freilauf. WC am Eingang wäre klasse, da das WC am Freibad absolut verdreckt ist. Das Freibad ist super gepflegt. Hunde dürfen nicht mit zum Strand, sehr schade. Alles in allem vier super Nächte dort verbracht. Das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und sehr sehr nett.

    EuroParcs Veluwemeer is a fantastic place for a family vacation. The park is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. The holiday homes are clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and there are plenty of activities for both adults and children. Whether you want to relax by the lake, rent bikes, or simply enjoy nature, this is a wonderful destination.

    What impressed me even more was the support the park has shown to Ukrainians. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your kindness, generosity, and willingness to help people during such a difficult time. Actions like these deserve the highest respect.
