    Super nice days we had. Everything was just top notch and clean. The sauna and hot tub super! Totally relaxed. Beautiful park near Winterswijk and the German border.

    Chic cover, poor service - price-performance ratio is not right We paid over €767 for a week at the Hofparken and were disappointed. The house is modern and the terrace on the water (with stairs to the approx. 5m wide canal) is really nice, but the service and hygiene are absolutely not up to this price. The biggest points of criticism: - Hygiene: when we moved in, the ashtray of the previous guests was still full. There was a layer of dust about 5 cm high under the bed, the fan in the bathroom was completely filthy and there were lots of cobwebs. The chlorine tablets in the pool were empty even after a few days and there was no landing net for fishing out insects. - Poor facilities: no hand soap, no bath mats (risk of slipping!), no hairdryer and no garbage can in the large bathroom. There are no hooks for towels/clothes in the bathroom and bedroom. The heating in the large bathroom got so hot that two of our bikinis or swimsuits melted. - Service: For 7 days there was only 1 set of towels per person (no change) and only 2 rolls of toilet paper. Despite the high price, you are supposed to dispose of the garbage yourself at the end and leave it "swept clean" - a cheek given the poor cleaning on arrival. - Privacy: The houses are extremely visible. You are literally stared at in the whirlpool. The glass fronts of the houses are really nice, but if you don't want to be stared at all the time, you have to have the curtains closed. - Noise: From the weekend onwards, it was very loud until after 22:00 due to groups arriving (slamming doors/shouting). - Technology: Instructions for whirlpool & co. are only available as 100-page technical manuals (some only in Dutch) hidden in a drawer. Instructions would also make sense for the sauna. We have seen other people in street clothes and with streets already going into the sauna. That is really questionable. Conclusion: If you are looking for a modern house and don't mind service, cleanliness and privacy, you will like it here. For almost €770 we expected much more professionalism. We won't be back.

    Schicke Hülle, mangelhafter Service – Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nicht Wir haben für eine Woche im Hofparken über 767 € bezahlt und sind enttäuscht. Das Haus ist modern und die Terrasse am Wasser (mit Treppe zum ca. 5m breiten Kanal) wirklich schön, aber der Service und die Hygiene entsprechen absolut nicht diesem Preis. Die größten Kritikpunkte: • Hygiene: Bei Einzug war der Aschenbecher der Vorgänger noch voll. Unter dem Bett lag eine ca. 5 cm hohe Staubschicht, der Lüfter im Bad war völlig verdreckt und es gab viele Spinnweben. Die Chlortabletten im Pool waren auch nach ein paar Tagen schon leer und einen Kescher zum herausfischen von Insekten gab es nicht. • Mangelhafte Ausstattung: Keine Handseife, keine Badematten (Rutschgefahr!), kein Föhn und kein Mülleimer im großen Bad. Es fehlen Haken für Handtücher/Kleidung im Bad und Schlafzimmer. Die Heizung im großen Badezimmer wurde so heiß, dass zwei unserer Bikinis beziehungsweise Badeanzüge geschmolzen sind. • Service: Für 7 Tage gab es nur 1 Set Handtücher p.P. (kein Wechsel) und nur 2 Rollen Klopapier. Trotz des hohen Preises soll man am Ende den Müll selbst entsorgen und „besenrein“ hinterlassen – bei der mangelhaften Reinigung bei Ankunft eine Frechheit. • Privatsphäre: Die Häuser sind extrem einsehbar. Man wird im Whirlpool regelrecht angestarrt. Die Glasfronten der Häuser sind zwar echt schön, aber wenn man nicht ständig angestarrt werden will, muss man die Vorhänge zu haben. • Lärm: Ab dem Wochenende war es durch anreisende Gruppen bis nach 22:00 Uhr sehr laut (Türenknallen/Geschrei). • Technik: Anleitungen für Whirlpool & Co. liegen nur als 100-seitige Fachhandbücher (teils nur Niederländisch) versteckt in einer Schublade. Auch bei der Sauna würde eine Anleitung Sinn machen. Wir haben gesehen wie andere Leute in Straßenkleidung und mit Straßen schon in die Sauna gegangen sind. Das ist wirklich fraglich. Fazit: Wer ein modernes Haus sucht und wem Service, Sauberkeit und Privatsphäre egal sind, wird es hier mögen. Für fast 770 € haben wir deutlich mehr Professionalität erwartet. Wir kommen nicht wieder.
