Beautiful location in the woods. Lots of different spots: sunny, shady, sheltered, and more open. The restrooms looked great and there were plenty of them.
    Otherwise, an unwelcoming reception.
After confirming by phone that we could just drop by for one night’s stay, we were told at the front desk that while that was possible, we’d have to pay for two nights. Very strange. After some discussion, we agreed to pay for one night; it was supposed to be 29 euros. Plus a 30-euro deposit. We were allowed to pick a spot. Back at the front desk, we were greeted by a different person. We were addressed in a very surly manner. After mentioning again that we had an Acci card, we were assigned a spot in the system. We were then told we had to put on wristbands. When we didn’t do so immediately, we were told in a rather forceful manner to put them on right then and there under their supervision. When it came time to pay, we were charged a significantly higher amount. We pointed out that this was incorrect. Then we were told we’d have to pay even more. We pointed out again that this was also incorrect because we had an ACSI card. According to the man, we had never mentioned that—but I was holding it right in my hand!! He didn’t get any friendlier.
Then there was dinner: we were just able to order something at the snack bar—everything closes at 7 p.m. Swimming isn’t an option anymore either, since the pool closed at 5 p.m.
Order at the front, pick up at the back by a door. It would be nice if there were a bench or something there. Now we’ve been waiting for almost 20 minutes!
Getting ice cream or having another drink on the patio isn’t possible after dinner either. Definitely a missed opportunity when it’s over 30°.

Mooie ligging in bos.
Mochten plek uitzoeken.

The location is beautiful! But that’s about all there is to say, so look for another campground. Landal was nice… but the staff wasn’t friendly! The outdoor pool was even closed on days when the temperature outside was above 20 degrees—and that was in June! Even on a day when it was a mere 28 degrees and you think, “I’ll go for a swim at 4:30 p.m.”—it was already closed! The kids’ pool was closed too, even when it was over 30 degrees. The indoor pool with the roof on was unbearable—it was extremely hot. My baby started sweating profusely and was only wearing a diaper, but the staff wouldn’t help come up with a solution. So I wouldn’t book here during the early season. By the way, the supermarket is rarely open, and at the restaurant you can only order something until 6 at the latest because the kitchen closes right after that. Total flop.

Locatie mooi! Flop.

The campground is situated in a beautiful spot in the Veluwe, in a charming village near the entrance to Park de Hoge Veluwe. There are also several attractions in the vicinity of the campground. The campground is always well-maintained and offers something for everyone: chalets, cottages, glamping tents, or the option to bring your own camping gear—with or without private restrooms—and a choice of sunny or shaded spots. Definitely worth a visit.

The campground is in a beautiful location and is kept very clean. However, we do have some complaints about the facilities. The campground guide states that the snack bar and restaurant are open from April 1 to September 30. The snack bar was open (in June) from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and the restaurant was only open on weekends and by request. The shop (selling fresh small rolls) was open from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The outdoor pools were closed (the weather wasn’t great either). A bit lacking for a 5-star campground.
