Animation is really top notch! Compliments to the whole team for the activities and friendliness. Unfortunately this picture does not apply to the reception.....not friendly, not flexible! Visitors to the restaurant also have to pay as day guests while the price per night is already on the high side! Pool water too cold and temperature in the pool also too low! Report about a dangerously protruding tent peg near playing children was not taken up! You expect much more from a 5 star campsite!

Animatie is echt top!

Beautiful campground, located in the forest with nice spots. However, some minus points: - Price quality ratio. Much too expensive for what you 'get' on a 5-star campsite. You may at a 5-star campsite surely expect a nice smelling plumbing? The opposite was true. The nearest building was old, smelled incredibly musty/old, not pleasant. You go back in time. Totally fine if you book a 2 star campsite, you can expect that. - Friendliness Arrival in the rain. Arrived around lunchtime and wanted something to eat in the restaurant. Doesn't this 5 star campground have a lunch menu. So our son, one door down from the campsite, picked up some snacks to eat dry in the 'restaurant'. We were informed that this was not the intention and if we wanted to leave. We were the only guests in the 'restaurant' at the time. In short, the camping staff puts you right out in the rain. - Friendliness The reception by the reception staff was not very cordial. It started already at home on the phone. That's possible, you may not have your day, but at physical reception we had already seen/heard it. Camping guests we would receive differently. (It was like she was rattling a tape). There is still a lot to learn at this campground. - Break All the staff has a break at the same time, between 4:30 and 5 pm. Also the snack bar and reception. So if you want to order an ice cream or fries, you really have to wait a while. Then again, the reception closes at 5 p.m. Oh no, 16.30, because they have a break until 17.00. - Snack bar When you have placed an order at the snack bar, you are asked to pick it up on the other side of the building. No problem if you have nice weather, but if it rains you stand in the rain, no canopy or friendly waiting porch. - Fields - camping pitches. We were on the large open field. Wonderful. Soccer field where the kids could play wonderfully with a fence around it. Nice interactive game and a nice wooden playground. The rest of the campground has many beautiful forest sites. A nice environment to unwind and enjoy nature. We had a great time, but the campsite itself leaves a lot of stitches, too bad. We will not come back here again.

Beautiful campsite, nothing to criticize, but a pity that customer friendliness falls short. Upon arrival we wanted to come earlier to use the pool. Unfortunately this was only allowed at 16:00 as we could only check into our mobile home then. Since we were a large group (26 people spread over 4 mobile homes) we had ordered groceries from the Jumbo. When the supplier reported to the barrier, he was not allowed to enter the site and we had to drive 2 cars to the barrier to transfer the groceries. Upon arrival (26 people booked by 1 person) there was nothing ready. Per bungalow all wristbands, info booklets, maps, etc. still had to be gathered. It would have been more convenient to have this ready in one folder, which would have made check-in easier. When visitors asked at the reception desk for information about the departure times of buses, they were told that the reception did not know. All small things that added up to irritating. Too bad.

Jammer.

Nice location and a nice outdoor pool for children but otherwise not recommended! There is a man driving around the park who constantly addresses everyone on a tape, my son even had to come with a friend to the reception, they are very shocked by this, very intimidating. This while I had agreed that we visit because of a birthday would pay afterwards (I do not think our visit should have to pay for this) then he also said that this was not true, why would I lie? Besides that an anti-social owner, just scold you when you don't have your band on but in your pocket. The plumbing is too disgusting. 1 shower keeps smelling like urine and the whole week we were there there was blood on the tiles in the women's toilet. Too disgusting for words that toilets how you found it, this is also due to the campers but I would say, instead of everyone checking the tires, grab a cloth and clean more often.

In the May vacation to the Pampel been. Fine campsite, but from a 5 star campsite really expected more. Nice pool, there are solar collectors, but they do not do much in my opinion, because the water was really ice cold. Plumbing is okay, but not cleaned enough. Most of the day it is not nice and fresh. When we arrived the bottle bank and paper containers were already overflowing, but they were not emptied all week. Nice entertainment for the children up to 12 years old. In short, had nice vacation at the pampel, but quietly take off 2 stars. The owner was far from friendly, but you do not have much to do with them, so that makes a difference.
