    A great place for a weekend, a long vacation, and everything in between! This is the fourth time we’ve spent our summer vacation here. Once in the glamping tent and three times in a Scandinavian red cottage. Wonderful vacations! The accommodations are clean, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities. Our daughter had plenty of space to make … friends, go exploring, and run around to her heart’s content. A playground, arcade, animals, a soccer field, and—not to mention—the wonderful pool for all ages. For us, there’s a lovely terrace to enjoy during the day or in the evening with a drink and a light or hearty snack. The value for money—both at the campground and the restaurant—is excellent. The food is very tasty, of excellent quality, and the sour meat bitterballen were my personal favorite. If there’s ever anything you need, you can always ask the friendly and helpful staff, and their sense of humor is a perfect fit for our family. During the summer months, there were also great family activities throughout the week organized by the fantastic Sjarda. In short, for a wonderful vacation, weekend getaway, overnight stay, dinner out, party, and/or wedding, Mareveld is the place to be! P.S. The napkin has become a lovely keepsake in our kitchen.

    Geweldige plek voor een weekend, een lange vakantie en alles ertussenin! We hebben nu voor de vierde keer onze zomervakantie hier doorgebracht. Een keer in de glamping tent en drie keer in een Scandinavisch rood huisje. Pracht vakanties! Locaties zijn schoon, ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken. Voor onze dochter was er alle ruimte om vrienden te maken, op ontdekkingstocht te gaan en lekker te ravotten. Speeltuin, speelhal, dieren, voetbalveldje en niet te vergeten het heerlijke zwembad voor groot en klein. Voor ons een heerlijk terras om te genieten overdag of 's avonds bij een drankje en een kleine of grote hap. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding, zowel van de camping als het restaurant, zijn helemaal goed. Het eten is erg lekker, hele goede kwaliteit en de zuurvleesbitterballen waren mijn persoonlijke favoriet. Was er ook maar iets dan kun je het vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel altijd vragen en de daarbij geboden humor past perfect bij ons gezin. In de zomermaanden waren er nog geweldige familie activiteiten door de week door de fantastische Sjarda. Kortom, voor een heerlijke vakantie/weekend weg/overnachting/uiteten/feestje en/of bruiloft ben je bij Mareveld aan het juiste adres! Ps.het servet is een mooi aandenken in onze keuken geworden.

    A wonderful campground. We had two fantastic weeks there with our two children, ages 6 and 11. The pool isn’t very big, but it’s wonderfully refreshing and perfectly adequate. The restrooms are fine, and the new playground is really great! Our kids had a blast playing there and even made new friends! There’s plenty to do in the area, and you can … get to Valkenburg in no time. Want to spend a day in Maastricht? We parked the car at the Beek-Elsoo train station—which is free—and took the train to Maastricht!

    Heerlijke camping. We hebben 2 priam weken gehad met onze 2 kinderen van 6 en 11 jaar. het zwembad is niet zo groot maar heerlijk verkoelend en voldoet. Sanitair is prima en de neiuwe speeltuin is echt top! onze kids hebben er herlijk in gespeeld en ook nieuwe vrienden gemaakt! genoeg te doen in de omgeving en je zit zo in Valkenburg. een dagje maastricht? wij hebben de auto bij station beek Elsoo gezet wat gratis is en met de trein verder naar maastricht!

    Spent a weekend there with my motorcycle. Friendly staff (I really don’t understand some of the reviews). The restrooms were fine and were cleaned regularly (a campground isn’t the Hilton, after all…). Plenty of opportunities for kids to play; the pool looked neat. There’s an outdoor terrace and a restaurant. We camped on a small field—it was just … fine. I’m giving it 4 stars because I can’t comment on the kids’ facilities, but everything looks neat and tidy. The restaurant is spacious and has a cozy atmosphere. It’s certainly geared toward meat-eaters, but there’s plenty of choice if you’re not a big eater. The only downside (for me personally): it doesn’t open until 10 a.m. for a cup of coffee. Of course, most guests are self-catering; we, as motorcyclists, aren’t, but we understand that. Beautiful surroundings with plenty to do—for cyclists, hikers, motorcyclists, or just for some peace and quiet. I don’t often come across a rate of €35 for two nights anymore (even if it’s just on a small field). I’ll definitely be back.

    Een weekendje gestaan met de motor. Vriendelijk personeel (ik begrijp sommige reacties echt niet). Sanitair was ook in orde en werd met regelmaat schoongemaakt (een camping is geen Hilton he....). Veel mogellijkheden voor kinderen om te spelen, zwembad zag er netjes uit. Buitenterras en een restaurant, Wij stonden op een veldje, prima in orde. Ik geef 4 sterren, omdat ik geen reactie kan geven over de faciliteiten voor kids, maar ziet er allemaal keurig uit. Het restaurant is ruim en gezellig ingericht. Het is inderdaad wel op vleeseters ingericht, maar keuze genoeg als je niet zo'n grote eter bent. Enige minpuntje (voor mij persoonlijk): 's morgens pas om 10u open voor een bak koffie. Uiteraard zijn de meeste bezoekers zelfvoorzienend, wij als motorrijder niet, maar we begrijpen dat. Prachtige omgeving waar vanalles te beleven is, voor fietsers, wandelaars, motorrijders, of gewoon voor je rust. €35,- voor 2 overnachtingen kom ik ook niet vaak meer tegen (al is het maar op een veldje) Kom er zeker nog eens terug.
