In Forest Lodge 4 you can retreat in peace and quiet in a small but nice accommodation. The detached chalet is on the ground floor and suitable for 4 persons. In the cosy living room you find a sitting area with television and French doors to the furnished terrace, a dining area and a kitchen with a 4-burner cooker, dishwasher and Nespresso Professional Machine (capsules for this are sold exclusively at the reception). Forest Lodge 4 has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds. The bathroom has a toilet, shower and sink. You have free Wi-Fi in the chalet and you can park 1 car there.

    A very beautiful, fresh, and modern-looking park with well-maintained landscaping. The accommodations we saw were modern, wood-clad vacation homes. The roads and paths are easy to navigate.
    We stayed for one night in our RV. A good, spacious spot with good restroom facilities.
    The store is accessible with a code and is self-service. Neat, … clean, and with a reasonably wide selection. Fresh rolls available by order. The kitchen and restaurant close at 8:00 PM.

    Erg mooi, fris en modern uitziend park met goed onderhouden groenvoorziening. Wat wij voor woningen gezien hebben zijn moderne vakantiewoningen met hout bekkeed. Goed begaanbare wegen en paden.
    We kwamen voor 1 nacht met de camper. Goede en ruime plek en Goede sanitaire voorzieningen.
    Winkel toegankelijk met een code en zelfbediening. Netjes, schoon en redelijk ruime keus. Verse broodjes via bestellen. Keuken Restaurant al 20.00u. dicht.

    We stayed in a chalet for five nights with our two young children (ages 3 and 1) and paid a total of €620.
    Unfortunately, upon our arrival, the accommodation was not in the condition we would have expected for that price—especially in terms of hygiene. Immediately upon arrival, we noticed numerous instances of dirt and grime in various areas … and extensively photographed them, documenting some on video as well.
    Among other things, this included the shower area, the showerhead, various corners, and wall and floor areas, as well as other spots in the chalet. There were particularly noticeable deposits and dirt in the shower area. The showerhead was eventually replaced.
    We reported the issues immediately upon arrival. The operator then sent a cleaning service. While this removed most of the dirt, not all of the grime in the shower area could be eliminated because, according to the cleaning service, the shower doors would have had to be removed to do so.
    We would like to note positively that the operator responded to our report and arranged for a follow-up cleaning. However, by that point, our stay had already been largely compromised. Furthermore, despite repeated communication, we were not offered any financial compensation. Instead, we were offered a late check-out as well as a so-called “lazy check-out.”
    Especially when staying with young children, we would have expected a significantly higher standard of hygiene upon arrival and, subsequently, a more appropriate solution for the inconvenience caused.
    Our conclusion: Although the accommodations were improved after our complaint, the initial condition upon arrival was disappointing to us and, in our view, unacceptable.
    We therefore recommend carefully inspecting the condition of the accommodations upon arrival and immediately documenting and reporting any issues.

    Wir waren für fünf Nächte mit unseren beiden kleinen Kindern (3 und 1 Jahr) in einem Chalet und haben dafür insgesamt 620 € bezahlt.
    Leider war die Unterkunft bei unserer Ankunft nicht in dem Zustand, den wir bei diesem Preis und insbesondere hinsichtlich der Hygiene erwartet hätten. Bereits direkt nach der Ankunft haben wir zahlreiche Verschmutzungen in verschiedenen Bereichen festgestellt und diese umfangreich fotografiert und teilweise per Video dokumentiert.
    Unter anderem betraf dies den Duschbereich, den Duschkopf, verschiedene Ecken und Wand-/Bodenbereiche sowie weitere Stellen im Chalet. Besonders im Duschbereich waren deutliche Ablagerungen und Verschmutzungen vorhanden. Der Duschkopf wurde schließlich ausgetauscht.
    Wir haben die Mängel unmittelbar nach der Ankunft gemeldet. Der Betreiber hat daraufhin einen Reinigungsdienst geschickt. Der größte Teil der Verschmutzungen konnte dadurch zwar entfernt werden, allerdings konnten nicht alle Verschmutzungen im Duschbereich beseitigt werden, da dafür laut Aussage des Reinigungsdienstes die Duschtüren hätten ausgebaut werden müssen.
    Positiv hervorheben möchten wir, dass der Betreiber auf unsere Meldung reagiert und eine Nachreinigung veranlasst hat. Allerdings war unser Aufenthalt zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits weitgehend beeinträchtigt. Zudem wurde uns trotz mehrfacher Kommunikation keine finanzielle Kompensation angeboten. Stattdessen wurden uns ein Late Check-out sowie ein sogenannter Lazy Check-out angeboten.
    Gerade bei einem Aufenthalt mit kleinen Kindern hätten wir uns einen deutlich höheren hygienischen Standard bei der Ankunft und anschließend eine angemessenere Lösung für die entstandene Beeinträchtigung gewünscht.
    Unser Fazit: Die Unterkunft wurde nach unserer Reklamation zwar nachgebessert, der ursprüngliche Zustand bei Ankunft war für uns jedoch enttäuschend und aus unserer Sicht nicht akzeptabel.
    Wir empfehlen daher, bei der Ankunft den Zustand der Unterkunft genau zu überprüfen und bei Auffälligkeiten sofort zu dokumentieren und zu melden.
