Summary created out of 251 reviews
Park Maasduinen is a beautifully landscaped holiday park nestled in nature, with modern houses and a peaceful forested setting. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, the convenient location near Venlo and Roermond, and the cosy Italian restaurant. The park features a swimming lake with beach and an indoor pool, ideal for families, and offers direct walking and cycling access from the grounds. However, cleaning standards vary, some tiny houses lack proper insulation during extreme temperatures, and the pool and restaurant can reach capacity during busy periods.

Absolutely terrible experience, avoid this place!!!!!!
This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had((((
We booked a cabin for an entire week through Booking.com and traveled from another country. After a long and exhausting journey, we arrived at 7:30 PM, only to find the reception completely closed. Nowhere on the hotel’s website or on Booking.com was it clearly stated that the reception would close at 6:00 PM. The only information available was that check-in starts after 4:00 PM.
We called customer support, hoping someone would help us. Instead, we were told to come back at 9:00 AM the next morning when the reception opened. We pointed out that there were lockboxes for keys right there, but the answer was shocking: “You can sleep in the forest or in your car, but nobody will give you the key.”
When I asked why the reception opening hours were not mentioned anywhere before arrival, I was told: “The reception schedule is posted on the door. You can see it when you get there.” That is one of the most ridiculous and unprofessional responses I’ve ever heard. How is that supposed to help someone who has already traveled hundreds of kilometers?
At that point I was in tears. We had already paid for the entire week, and Booking.com clearly stated that all taxes and fees were included. We were simply abandoned with no solution whatsoever.
After almost an hour of searching, we finally found a staff member and literally had to beg him to give us the key. Without him, we would have been left outside for the night.
As if that wasn’t enough, the cabin itself was unbearably hot. There was no air conditioning and not even a fan. With temperatures over 40°C, the cabin felt like an oven. Sleeping was almost impossible.
The complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic respect for paying guests is unacceptable. People come here to relax, not to be told to sleep in a car or in the forest because of your poor organization.
This experience completely ruined the beginning of our vacation. The management seriously needs to rethink both their check-in system and the way their staff treat guests.
I would never stay here again and absolutely cannot recommend this place to anyone. -

A lovely house/bungalow without air conditioning—which was a bit of a bummer since it was 41 degrees when we arrived. There’s one parking spot at the bungalow. When choosing which cottage you want, keep in mind that you won’t have the exact house number yet; you’ll only receive it upon arrival. The reception staff is friendly and always ready to help as long as they’re there (during business hours). There’s a pool and a small outdoor beach where you can also swim. The village is within biking distance, and you’ll find a supermarket there. We had a great time.

Love everything, the only slight downside is there could be more kids activities or facilities. Other than that loved all and it's an experience to repeat again.
