    A lovely campground for families.
    But the operators are completely inflexible.
    The two of us and our dog stayed at the campground this weekend. We had planned to camp there again next weekend with our kids and friends.
    Unfortunately, for some reason, we booked the wrong weekend—and only for two people. When we realized our mistake this … weekend, we went straight to the front desk and tried to reschedule the reservation for next week. However, this wasn’t possible. They also didn’t agree to our suggestion of paying a rescheduling fee.
    We could only have canceled the weekend, which meant we lost 130 euros. Then we could have made a new reservation for next weekend, since the campground isn’t fully booked anyway.

    We won’t be booking at this campground again because I don’t consider this kind of behavior child-friendly. Especially since we were willing to pay a rebooking fee and would have arrived with two additional people.

    So be careful with your bookings—flexibility is in short supply.

    Aber die Betreiber sind total unflexibel.
    Wir waren dieses Wochenende zu zweit und ein Hund auf dem Campingplatz. Nächstes Wochenende wollten wir mit unseren Kindern und Freunden erneut für ein Wochenende dort campen.
    Leider haben wir aus irgendeinem Grund das falsche Wochenende gebucht und auch nur mit 2 Personen. Als uns unser Fehler an diesem Wochenende aufgefallen ist. Sind wir sofort zur Rezeption gegangen und versucht das Wochenende vom auf nächste Woche umzubuchen. Dieses ist aber nicht möglich gewesen. Auch auf den Vorschlag eine Umbuchungsgebühr zu bezahlen ist man nicht eingegangen.
    Wir hätten nur das Wochenende stornieren können und haben dardurch 130 Euro verloren. Dann hätten wir für nächstes Wochenende neu buchen können, weil der Platz ja auch nicht ausgebucht ist.

    Wir werden nicht mehr auf diesem Campingplatz buchen da ich ein solches Verhalten nicht kinderfreundlich finde. Zumal wir ja bereit waren eine umbuchungsgebühr zu zahlen und zudem mit 2 Personen mehr angereist wären.

    Also passt bei euren Buchungen auf da Flexibilität Mangelware ist.

    A beautiful park with lovely cottages. It’s a shame that the front desk staff isn’t very empathetic and remains unyielding. They didn’t offer a single apology even though there were a few issues with our reservation and stay.
