Summary created out of 118 reviews

The park is beautifully situated in the middle of the woods and is particularly appreciated for its modern cottages, spacious camping pitches and natural swimming lake with sandy beach. Guests praise the location and the peaceful, green surroundings, ideal for families. The animation team receives glowing reviews for its varied activity programme. However, there are areas for improvement: the cleaning of accommodations frequently falls short (dirty cutlery, dusty cottages), reception staff are experienced as inconsistently unfriendly or unhelpful, and the restaurant receives criticism for quality, pricing and long waiting times.

The service was unbelievably bad. The front desk was a total disaster, and the service at the brasserie restaurant was incredibly slow. This is the worst Landal—or any other vacation park—I’ve ever booked 🤬. I’m never coming back here.

The stay at Landal Bosven was fine in itself, but the PIN code/digital lock system is incredibly unreliable. Unlocking via the app doesn’t work at all, which means you regularly find yourself standing in front of a locked door.

It’s striking that the door closer has already been removed, which gives the impression that the problems with this system have been known for some time. Yet they still rely on this system, even though it doesn’t work properly in practice.

My advice to future guests: upon arrival, immediately ask for a physical key at the front desk. This will save you a lot of time, frustration, and hassle when the PIN code fails to work yet again. A reliable access system is a basic necessity, and unfortunately, the park falls seriously short in this regard.

Well-maintained and beautiful trails, and plenty for kids to do. It’s a shame that the hot tub in the pool is run by the lifeguards
But other than that, it’s a beautiful park.

We can definitely recommend the park if you want to cook for yourself and don’t care about going to a restaurant.

The one-point deduction is because of the restaurant. We’d give it zero stars.

We stayed in a Woodlounge 4B, and the cabin is beautifully furnished, the beds are comfortable, and it has everything you need.

As for the dishes, some of them weren’t in great shape, but that’s because the previous guests just shoved them in there.

You can’t blame the park for that, since it was further down the line.

The baby pool was closed one day, but they took care of it right away and a technician came. It was open again the next day.

Everyone was friendly and nice, and there’s entertainment for the little ones, too.
There’s a playground with a slide even for the littlest ones.

Our cottage was situated so that we could sit on the terrace without any onlookers.

So, that’s actually a reason to come back, but since we’d also like to be able to walk to dinner in the evenings and can’t recommend the restaurant at all, we unfortunately won’t be returning. Maybe the park should look into finding a more kid-friendly operator.

I’m not sure if it’s part of the park itself, but the events are definitely held there.
P.S. The “entertainers” are all super nice and always smiling.

Here’s our review of the restaurant for context...

We were on vacation at the adjacent park and went to the restaurant three times.

The first time was for bingo night. Everything was fine then. We were served drinks and food, and the server regularly checked in to see if everything was okay. She was surprised when I gave her a tip and asked twice if I really didn’t want my change back...

The second time we were there—again for bingo night—we managed to order a drink. For the rest of the time, we were ignored. After 30 minutes, we gave up and didn’t order anything else.

We actually wanted something to eat and something to drink.

Even when we waved a little more vigorously, people looked our way but no one came over.

All in all, we sat there for an hour with empty glasses and were hungry. We finished playing bingo—we’d already paid for the cards, after all.

Just before the end, someone came to collect payment. She just said... “Sorry, we were busy.”

Okay, so we spent 10 euros instead of 60.

Then, a day later, we wanted to try again, and two of us wanted to eat pizza. The emphasis is on “try”...

In one room, we were told that we could only eat pizza there, and if we wanted regular dishes, we’d have to go to the other room. We went in there, and it smelled just like a smoky bar. Of course, right next to it is the outdoor smoking area, and everything is open. We had someone with lung problems and a 16-month-old toddler with us.

So we went back across. I decided to just skip the meal, since I don’t like pizza, so at least the others could have theirs.

Then another employee came over and said we could actually eat anything here. We were happy…

Then the next one came and said it was only pizza... even our 16-month-old child was either allowed to eat only pizza or had to just watch everyone else eat.

How “CHILD-FRIENDLY” can you be when you’re attached to a family park?

We left because we were denied the chance to speak with the manager.

We later found out that the manager’s name is Milan and called him.

He thinks it’s perfectly normal to be ignored and that children are either denied food or have to be put in a smoker.

He says we should feel free to write a review...

Everyone can form their own opinion on this.

Sorry we was busy.
