You stay among the forests of the Brabant Kempen in modern bungalows or chalets, with plenty of space around you. Children can have fun in the heated outdoor pool, the playgrounds and on the air trampoline, while you relax with a drink on the terrace of the forest café. Dierenrijk is also nearby, about 16 kilometers from the park. Here you can walk among the animals and there are several playgrounds and activities for children. For younger children, amusement park De Splinter is a nice place, with large outdoor playgrounds, water and plenty of space to play. Those who prefer something active can visit Klimrijk Brabant or choose canoeing and outdoor activities at Rofra. Because everything is relatively close by, you can easily combine an active morning with a peaceful afternoon back at the park or in nature around Molenvelden.

    I had a nice weekend, but the reception desk’s unprofessional conduct put a damper on my vacation.

    Nice pool, great camping spot, clean restrooms, but the woman at the reception desk was very unfriendly and not at all customer-oriented.
    She argues with guests in an unpleasant manner.

    The vacation villa with air conditioning, a sauna, an outdoor shower, and a private pool was truly fantastic! The pool was cleaned every day. The vacation villa is beautifully decorated, and it has everything you need. The staff at the resort are super friendly. They’re still building vacation homes at the resort, but it didn’t cause any inconvenience at all. This was also clearly mentioned when we booked.

    De vakantie villa met airco, sauna, buiten douche en privé zwembad was echt top ! Het zwembad werd elke dag schoongemaakt. De vakantie villa is heel mooi ingericht en je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt. De medewerkers op het park zijn super vriendelijk. Er worden nog vakantiehuizen gebouwd op het park maar er was hier totaal geen overlast van. Dit was overigens bij het boeken ook netjes aangegeven.

    This is for a large camping pitch with all services (electricity included) Very good spacious pitch on grass.
    Excellent restaurant with English speaking staff (Thank You) and very clean facilities.

    We were at Vakantiepark Molenverlden from 04.06. to 07.06.2026 and had booked a luxury self-catering villa. The arrival went smoothly and we received our key cards at check-in. However, when we wanted to move into our accommodation after 15:00, the house had not yet been cleaned and the cleaner was still in the villa - although the official check-in should already be possible. However, the biggest trouble came with the fridge. We were not told at reception that it was faulty. As we assumed that it had probably just been switched on, we put all the food away after shopping. The next morning we were in for a nasty surprise: the fridge was warm and all the food had gone off. We had to dispose of everything. After reporting this to reception, we were told that there was a replacement fridge in the garden shed. Due to our three small children, this was finally brought into the house. However, the condition of the fridge was appalling: old, rickety, rusty and with mold in the freezer compartment. We were told that there was no alternative. Neither vouchers for shopping or the restaurant were offered, nor any other suitable solution. We were promised a €100 refund as compensation. However, we have not yet received this. Irrespective of this incident, the accommodation did not meet the standard of a "luxury villa". The furnishings were fine, but there were clear signs of wear and tear. The sliding doors were difficult to open and looked very worn. Another incident was particularly worrying: a picture fell off the wall without warning. After seeing the mounting, we were not surprised. However, such improper fixing is extremely negligent - especially in accommodation where there are children. The picture could easily have hit and injured one of our children. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay. The way the faulty fridge was dealt with, the lack of communication and the safety issues were not, in our opinion, up to the standard you would expect from an accommodation advertised as a "luxury villa".

    Wir waren vom 04.06. bis 07.06.2026 im Vakantiepark Molenverlden und hatten eine Luxus-Villa zur Selbstverpflegung gebucht. Die Anreise verlief problemlos und beim Check-in erhielten wir unsere Schlüsselkarten. Als wir jedoch nach 15:00 Uhr unsere Unterkunft beziehen wollten, war das Haus noch nicht gereinigt und die Reinigungskraft befand sich noch in der Villa – obwohl der offizielle Check-in bereits möglich sein sollte. Der größte Ärger folgte jedoch mit dem Kühlschrank. An der Rezeption wurde uns nicht mitgeteilt, dass dieser defekt war. Da wir davon ausgingen, dass er möglicherweise gerade erst eingeschaltet worden war, räumten wir nach unserem Einkauf sämtliche Lebensmittel ein. Am nächsten Morgen dann die böse Überraschung: Der Kühlschrank war warm und alle Lebensmittel waren verdorben. Wir mussten alles entsorgen. Nach Meldung an der Rezeption wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass sich ein Ersatzkühlschrank im Gartenhaus befinde. Aufgrund unserer drei kleinen Kinder wurde dieser schließlich ins Haus gebracht. Der Zustand des Kühlschranks war jedoch erschreckend: alt, wackelig, rostig und mit Schimmel im Kühlfach. Uns wurde gesagt, dass es keine Alternative gäbe. Weder wurden Gutscheine für den Einkauf oder das Restaurant angeboten, noch eine andere angemessene Lösung. Als Entschädigung wurden uns 100 € Rückerstattung zugesagt. Bis heute haben wir diese jedoch noch nicht erhalten. Auch unabhängig von diesem Vorfall entsprach die Unterkunft keineswegs dem Standard einer „Luxus-Villa“. Die Ausstattung war zwar in Ordnung, jedoch waren deutliche Gebrauchsspuren vorhanden. Die Schiebetüren ließen sich nur schwer öffnen und wirkten stark verschlissen. Besonders bedenklich war ein weiterer Vorfall: Ein Bild fiel ohne Vorwarnung von der Wand. Nachdem wir die Befestigung gesehen hatten, überraschte uns das nicht. Allerdings ist eine derart unsachgemäße Befestigung äußerst fahrlässig – insbesondere in einer Unterkunft, in der sich Kinder aufhalten. Das Bild hätte problemlos eines unserer Kinder treffen und verletzen können. Insgesamt waren wir von unserem Aufenthalt sehr enttäuscht. Der Umgang mit dem defekten Kühlschrank, die mangelnde Kommunikation sowie die Sicherheitsmängel entsprechen aus unserer Sicht nicht dem Standard, den man von einer als „Luxus-Villa“ beworbenen Unterkunft erwarten darf.
