Inside, you’ll find a bright and modern living area with a smart TV and air conditioning, so you’re always comfortable whatever the weather. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare your favourite meals after a day out on the water or exploring the village. With space for up to 5 guests and a practical layout, you can relax together and still enjoy plenty of privacy.

The real magic is outside. Step onto your spacious terrace, fire up the barbecue and enjoy long evenings with views over the water. Stretch out on the deckchairs with a good book, sip your morning coffee in the sun, or simply watch the boats glide past. Thanks to your private jetty just a few steps from the chalet, you can hop straight into a boat and explore Giethoorn’s famous canals at your own pace.

For active days, there’s bicycle storage if you bring your own bikes, and the nearby Weerribben-Wieden National Park is a dream for canoeing, hiking and birdwatching. On quieter days, stay in and enjoy the party games provided – ideal for a fun family night. A washing machine is also available, so you can travel light and still keep everything fresh.

Start your day with warm pastries from Molen Bakery, only about 600 metres away, then discover the postcard-perfect thatched-roof farmhouses that make Giethoorn so unique.
