    This was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. First of all, note the late check-in time of 4:00 PM—early check-in wasn’t possible—and check-out at 10:00 AM. The photos speak for themselves: mold, dirt, and dampness in the room. As a bonus, tap water with dirt in it. Are children supposed to breathe this in? Or why are you selling this if it’s unfit for that purpose? And this room cost over 320 euros per night. You can’t treat your guests like this. The only plus is the large grounds equipped with playgrounds.

    We have just returned from our vacation at EuroParcs Resort The Achterhoek. When we arrived at our 12 person house, the pots were in front of the door. The house was very dirty, I can hardly imagine that it had been cleaned. In the bathroom (toilet) there were toenails on the floor and the wall was dirty (it looked like blood splatter). The floor was not clean in the whole house, there were real piles of dirt in one of the cupboards. We then cleaned the vacuum cleaner and vacuumed it ourselves (this was not possible before as the vacuum cleaner was completely blocked and full). The dishwasher unfortunately didn't work at all, the dishes came out completely dirty. The dishes in the cupboards were also not clean. The fitted sheets that were already on the bed were sometimes so dirty that it was disgusting (but the bedding was new and had to be changed). The indoor playground was closed due to maintenance work, but we only found out about this on the day of arrival. We didn't see any workmen there. The only positive thing was the beautiful location of the vacation home on the water. Price/performance was unfortunately not good, we were disappointed.

    Wir sind gerade von unserem Urlaub bei EuroParcs Resort The Achterhoek wiedergekommen. Bei Ankunft in unserem 12 Personen Haus, standen die Töpfe vor der Tür. Das Haus war sehr dreckig, ich kann mir kaum vorstellen das dort geputzt wurde. Im Bad (Toilette) lagen Fussnägel auf dem Boden und die Wand war verschmutzt (es sah aus wie Blutspritzer). Der Boden war im gesamten Haus nicht sauber, in einem der Schränke lagen richtige Dreckhaufen. Wir haben dann den Staubsauger gesäubert und selbst gesaugt (dies war vorher nicht möglich, da der Staubsauger komplett verstopft und voll war). Die Spülmaschine funktionierte leider überhaupt nicht, das Geschirr kam komplett dreckig wieder raus. Das Geschirr in den Schränken war ebenfalls nicht sauber. Die Spannbettlacken die bereits auf dem Bett waren, waren teilweise so dreckig, daß es schon ekelig war (Bettzeug zum beziehen war aber neu da und musste dann natürlich noch bezogen werden. Der Indoor Spielplatz war aufgrund von Wartungsarbeiten gesperrt, davon haben wir aber erst am Tag der Anreise erfahren. Handwerker haben wir dort keine gesehen. Das einzige Positive war die schöne Lage des Ferienhauses am Wasser. Preis/Leistung war leider nicht gut, wir sind enttäuscht.

    Nice park, enough playgrounds for the children. In terms of animals: 4 rabbits, 4 chickens and 2 goats at the entrance. Swimming pool is super small. Indoor playground was not open due to maintenance.

    We were in spring break at Europarcs Lochem and had a very nice week. Coincidentally we were in the same house for the second time (nr 430) and it was perfect. Large house (10 persons), right on the water and the forest, large terrace around the house, and everything was in it what we needed. The park is also beautiful with indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a swimming pool, restaurant and snack bar, and we rented mountain bikes at the park which the kids were able to use all day to race through the woods. Highly recommended! Tip: do book on time, especially if you want a specific house, because in the vacations and weekends it can go fast.

    Wij waren in de voorjaarsvakantie bij Europarcs Lochem en hebben een hele fijne week gehad. Toevallig zaten er voor de tweede keer in hetzelfde huis (nr 430) en dat was perfect. Groot huis (10 persoons), pal aan het water en aan het bos, groot terras rondom het huis, en alles zat erin wat we nodig hadden. Het park is ook mooi met speeltuinen binnen en buiten, een zwembad, restaurant en snackbar, en we hebben mountainbikes gehuurd op het park waarmee de kinderen de hele dag hebben kunnen crossen door het bos. Aanrader! Tip: boek wel op tijd, zeker als je een specifiek huis wilt, want in de vakanties en weekends kan het hard gaan.
