There are two lighthouses in Westkapelle that are definitely worth a visit during your vacation. The first, 't Lage Licht, is located right on the coast near the Zeedijk. The second, 't Hoge Licht, stands on the Zuidstraat and offers a breathtaking view of the North Sea, the beach and Walcheren. In clear weather, you can even see the coastline of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Lovely quiet, small park. For us with 2 dogs fine, close to beach fine walks done. Cottage was luxurious and modern. In short for us it was fine!

Heerlijk rustig, kleinschalig park. Voor ons met 2 honden prima, dicht bij strand fijne wandelingen gedaan. Huisje was luxe en modern. Kortom voor ons was het prima!!

Absolutely NOT recommended and NOT family-friendly. We stayed at this Europarc in June with our 3 month old son. There were massive safety deficiencies, e.g. an open torn off socket right next to the kitchenette. There was also no privacy, as the curtain in the hallway was also torn off and the cube could not be darkened as a result (disastrous, especially with a baby). The lamp above the dining table unfortunately only worked with a loose connection. When we complained about this, the park manager Ferdi only told us that he couldn't do anything about it and that we couldn't be accommodated in any other Cube, but that we would be reimbursed for one night as compensation. We are still waiting for the money today, and after he didn't respond to any calls or WhatsApp messages, he has now even blocked my cell phone number. Europarcs itself claims that we should have complained within 30 days, which we did. But unfortunately not in writing. The unprofessional behavior of Europarcs and the park manager almost borders on fraud and we would strongly advise against going on vacation here if you are looking for a carefree time.

Absolut NICHT empfehlenswert und NICHT familienfreundlich. Wir waren im Juni mit unserem 3-Monate-alten Sohn in diesem Europarc. Es gab massive Sicherheitsmängel, z.B. eine offene abgerissene Steckdose direkt neben der Küchenzeile. Privatsphäre gab es ebenfalls keine, da der Vorhang im Flur ebenfalls abgerissen war und sich der Cube dadurch nicht verdunkeln ließ (katastrophal, gerade mit Baby). Die Lampe über dem Esstisch funktionierte leider nur mit Wackelkontakt. Als wir uns darüber beschwert haben, sagte uns der Parkmanager Ferdi nur, dass er nichts daran ändern könne und wir auch in keinem anderen Cube unterkommen könnten, dass wir aber als Entschädigung eine Nacht erstattet kriegen würden. Auf das Geld warten wir bis heute, nachdem er weder auf Anrufe noch WhatsApp-Nachrichten reagiert, hat er mittlerweile sogar meine Handynummer blockiert. Europarcs selbst beruft sich darauf, dass wir uns hätten innerhalb von 30 Tagen beschweren müssen, was wir getan haben. Nur eben leider nicht schriftlich. Das unprofessionelle Verhalten von Europarcs und dem Parkmanager grenzt beinahe an Betrug und wir möchten ganz dringend davon abraten hier Urlaub zu machen, wenn ihr auf der Suche nach einer unbeschwerten Zeit seid.

The two of us spent a long weekend in this fairly new park and all in all I give it 5 stars, also in comparison to other parks and with regard to our individual needs. I have already been to a few parks, but I will definitely visit this one again. It suits my needs for peace and quiet, a modern ambience and short distances. It should be mentioned that the prices are very "sporty", as is the case everywhere, but here in particular, especially in high season. Unfortunately, this really is a "disadvantage".

Wir haben zu Zweit ein langes Wochenende in diesem recht neuen Park verbracht und alles in allem gebe ich, auch im Vergleich zu anderen Parks und bzgl. unserer individuellen Bedürfnisse, 5 Sterne. Ich war schon in einigen Parks, aber diesen werde ich definitiv nochmal besuchen. Er passt zu meinen Bedürfnissen nach Ruhe, modernem Ambiente und kurzen Wegen. Es bleibt zu erwähnen, dass die Preise, wie mittlerweile überall, aber hier ganz besonders, gerade zur Hochsaison seeeehr "sportlich" sind. Das ist leider wirklich ein "Nachteil".
