Oesterdam Resort

Wir haben eine Woche in der Hauptsaison in der Royal 2+2-Villa gewohnt. Sämtliche Räume, insbesondere das Badezimmer und die Küche waren sauber. Separate Toilette. Die Treppe ins OG ist sehr steil, für unseren jugendlichen Sohn aber kein Problem. Draußen waren natürlich viele Spinnenweben, die wir auch täglich auf der Terrasse entfernt haben, allerdings waren diese am nächsten Tag wieder da. Es ist nun mal Natur... Einzig eine Zigarettenkippe hat an der Feuerstelle gelegen (die kann aber auch hergeweht sein). Der Wetterschutz-Überzug für die Gaskaminstelle war zerfetzt, vielleicht sollte hier mal ein neuer Bezug angeschafft werden.
Schwimmen war durch die Blaualgen leider nicht möglich.
Die Villa ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Ausstattung vollständig (kein günstiges Schweden-Möbelhaus-Geschirr, sondern Geschirr von Villeroy und Boch). Weinklimaschrank und Quooker. Waschmaschine mit integriertem Trockner.
Check-in unkompliziert in fließendem Deutsch, sogar eine Flasche Sekt haben wir bekommen.
Check-out auch ganz unkompliziert. Den Brötchenservice und das Restaurant haben wir nicht genutzt.
Laut war es nie (trotz Reisezeit im Juli), unsere Villa lag aber auch am Ende des Resorts, dort hat man ohnehin nicht viel vom Hotel und dem Jachhafen mitbekommen.
Einzig negativer Punkt: ein Haartrockner war nicht vorhanden. Dieser sollte nachgerüstet werden.
Wir planen, im nächsten Jahr wiederzukommen.

We stayed in Villa 311. The villa was indeed great. Unfortunately, it was located next to a inlet, which was full of blue-green algae from day one. The reason we chose this house was because we could swim nearby. We were very disappointed. Unfortunately, by the end of the week, we couldn’t sit on the terrace because the smell had become unbearable. We contacted the front desk about this, but unfortunately, there was nothing they could do… Force majeure… they said the wind would shift and then everything would be gone. It didn’t. Many houses right on the lake were empty the whole week… Why not move us then? This means we don’t look back on the vacation with any pleasure!

July 20, 2026. From 5:00 p.m. until around 10:00 p.m., I had the pleasure of celebrating my 85th birthday with a private dining experience at the Oesterdam. The menu I’d chosen in advance with Angelique turned out to be a huge hit. In a word, it was amazing! The welcome, the atmosphere, the terrace. The service couldn’t have been better—it was magnificent (unfortunately, I don’t remember her name anymore). And then there was the food: both the appetizers and main courses, etc.—neatly presented, varied, and flavorful—simply sublime.It was a constant delight. A celebration we’ll never forget. Excellent! Not just me, but all the family members present felt the same way. My—our—heartfelt thanks, therefore, to ALL the staff at the Oesterdam who helped make this happen. Definitely worth repeating…Piet de Peuter.
