We had booked house no. 99 for a few days. Interior very worn, but everything was clean. The park is beautifully situated.

Nice campsite, well located. You can reach the Versemeer or the North Sea beach in no time at all

Family orientated campsite, includes pool sports area for teenagers etc, this is reflected in the price. So if you have kids it's great, if you don't it seems a bit expensive. The location righ on the sea is lovely, the tourist focused town is a few minutes walk. The toilet emptying washing out hose does not have a hook so it is just laying on the floor which is not hygienic.

Great campsite, lots of activities possible

One of best places I ever visited in my life. Greatly loved the accomodation and the atmosphere!

Beautiful facility with potential, but unfortunately many shortcomings: only one soccer without air, defective mini golf clubs and dirty mini golf courses, cold and dirty indoor pool and no separate changing areas for men and women. The accommodation was not really clean on arrival, bed linen stained, pots dirty. Despite booking the final cleaning, we were subsequently charged an additional cleaning fee of €90 - they even tried to charge us without consulting us. Unfortunately, one of our children threw up at night, which we reported immediately. We were not provided with new bed linen and this incident was subsequently blamed on us by email. Price-performance ratio and customer service unfortunately disappointing. I very much hope that something will change on these points. SUPPLEMENT: Huttopia responded really well to my email. The claim for the 90€ was withdrawn and they apologized very courteously. Thank you! - I got one more star for that.

Overall exceptional, new and well maintained facilities, attentive, friendly and helpful staff, they make you feel comfortable and cared for at all times. I will definitely come back. 100% recommendable.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ LIE ALERT ⚠️⚠️⚠️ In its response, Huttopia Saumur's local management asserts that the front desk was not informed of the malfunction caused by the alarm going off around 4:00 am. This statement is a factual lie. I personally informed reception of the situation, and it was they who requested the technician to replace the fire alarm box. It would undoubtedly be more constructive to focus efforts on improving service and customer well-being, rather than wasting time on intellectually dishonest approaches. END OF LIE ALERT OPINION: We stayed at the Huttopia campsite in Saumur and had a mixed experience. Positives: Whether at reception, in the restaurant, or the person in charge of repairs, the staff is a real strong point: pleasant, conscientious and helpful. The pool is very pleasant and well maintained. The site itself is pleasant, with enough space to keep holidaymakers from being crowded, which contributes to calm and comfort. Negative points: The bungalows are equipped with very poor quality appliances and equipment. For example, the fire detector went off in the middle of the night (at around 4 a.m.), for no reason at all - proof of low-quality equipment. This contrasts sharply with the eco-responsible, high-quality image that Huttopia wants to project. The campsite store offers very few items, and some essential products are not even available (for example, there are no garbage can liners for sale, and they are not supplied with the rental). Prices are extremely high: the only coffee available was sold at €35/kg... Cleaning prior to our arrival was very inadequate: we found our bungalow filthy, with even medicines lying around under a bed. Finally, the local management (site manager) showed no particular attention to the inconveniences we encountered. No apology, no commercial gesture after the detector went off in the middle of the night or the deplorable state of cleanliness of the accommodation. To sum up: The setting and staff make for a pleasant stay, but the quality of the accommodation, the upkeep, the boutique offer and the total lack of consideration shown by management mar the experience. A stay that could have been very pleasant, but which unfortunately leaves a bitter taste.

We were there with the camper and our grandson. Lots of animals and everywhere go-karts, bikes you can use. Footballs, trampolines sandboxes with toys. Toilet building neat. Forest and water nearby.

We stayed at the vacation park for 4 nights this week and were actually completely satisfied. We had a parking space right next to our house and were therefore always on the move quickly. The vacation home was divided as follows: Living room/kitchen: dining table and four chairs, sofa, two armchairs and TV. Bedroom 1: Two single beds and four small wall cupboards Bedroom 2: One double bed and one closet Bathroom: Large washbasin with vanity unit (2 drawers and hairdryer), a large shower with hand shower and rain shower head and a towel dryer Separate WC with small washbasin. Underfloor heating was installed in every room in the house, except for the bathroom and WC. The underfloor heating could be switched on and controlled individually in each room. As a tip, don't be surprised it takes a while for the underfloor heating to heat up and it may be better to set it a little cooler, as 25°C is very warm in the living room. For us personally, it was very warm in the bedrooms despite the heating being switched off, so that condensation formed on the window panes every morning. The entertainment team was always very friendly and can answer questions in different languages. The activities that were offered were all very funny. We had signed up for bingo and the "fox hunt". In the fox hunt, we had to "catch" 4 runaway patients in the park and give them medicine so that they could be cured. The patients moved freely around the park and we had to walk through the entire park at least once within 45 minutes. In general, we can say that the vacation park has a very good price-performance ratio and we can therefore recommend it.
