What a beautiful vacation park definitely worth repeating

Parque de campismo muito acolhedor a 5 km da Praia de Odeceixe. Adorámos a comida caseira, a simpatia do staff, e as actividades para crianças da Fada Alecrim. Estamos desejosos de voltar em família! Obrigada e até para o ano!

"A change for the worse". After more than 10 years of going every summer, Conchita and Pedro are missed. Although in other publications say no, there has been a reduction of staff, which is very noticeable, and a reduction of services for children. Cleaning, mini-club, swimming pool, campsite maintenance, bar.... The poor workers, even with their best efforts, are not able to cope. Practical example, in the miniclub last year there were two girls, this year, upon entering we were told that the person who ran it was injured and that there would be no more miniclub. Before there were two, now there is one and "there is no staff cut". And why is it necessary to have two people in the mini-club? Because there are usually many children of different ages, from 3, 4 and 5 to 10, 11 and 12. And it is very difficult to find something that everyone likes. So someone stays with the little ones and the other person, with the older ones. Magic, walks along the river, and other activities with the children, disappeared in combat. Swimming pool, forgotten. I do not know if it will remain, but they can remove the sign "heated pool". Before, the "lifeguard", now nonexistent (but without "staff cuts"), was in charge of putting and removing insulating plates, which helped to keep the pool warm. Now, nothing... If with that, the water was already a little cold, now it is freezing and does not feel like bathing. "Restaurant and Bar. As they have already said here, there is no more breakfast, no menu of the day (which last year there was) or anything, a very small menu and if you go one day, you know what you're going to eat the rest of the days you want to eat. And yes, it is closed on Mondays all day and the rest from 16h to 19h. Upon entering we were told that if the bar is closed you can't access the loft, which has books and videos for children. Luckily, the staff is more considerate and did not kick us out when we were reading past 16h. Campsite maintenance. I'm sorry, but without staff cuts you can't understand what is happening here. Of the green plots, with grass and with the luster they were doing, forget about it. It's all dirt now. Last year, when a caravan or tent left, after 10 minutes you had Pedro or the person in charge with a sprinkler to water and replant. In the 9 or 10 days we have been there, I have not seen a single sprinkler. Cleaning toilets. Same as before, no trimming I don't understand. No paper many times (lucky we were prepared) and dirtier than usual. Not exaggeratedly, but more. The silence of the campsite. I guess that having opened the possibility of hiring through booking and others, people have come less respectful, but it is the responsibility of the campsite that if the hours of silence is at 23h, you can not enter with the car at that time and, previously, at 23h they forced you to close the outside lights, so you realize that at 23h is silence, zero noise. A security guard would pass by and tell you to turn off the lights. When we were there, the caravans with lights and making noise. Having said all this, and as I said in the first sentence, the change to WeCamp has not been good for this campsite.

Especially interesting for children but worthless for fishing

Wonderful campsite! Gigantically enjoyed the tranquility. Rented a nice "tent. Nice bed, nicely finished bathroom and complete kitchen. Sturdier chairs would be nice!

Great location for visiting Ypres 15min stroll into town or to the Mennin Gate. Variety of motorhome pitches also with a tent section separated from any traffic. Toilets and showers very clean and modern. Staff very friendly and informative.

Really enjoy the tranquility and nature

The location of the camping side was very nice but the mobile home wasn’t entirely clean when we arrived. We paid a lot of money for the WiFi but it was either slow or didn’t work at all. The drain in the shower was blocked and the water couldn’t drain away. Even though this wasn’t nice the pool was very clean and big and the restaurant was in a good shape.

I have been here several times, it is incredibly quiet, familiar, comfortable and functional, absolutely recommendable.

We had a wonderful time in the Marches in the beautiful apartment Fico at Agriturismo Angeli Sognanti from Jacqueline and her husband Gerald! The tranquility, the friendliness, the beautiful surroundings and nature and also the beach nearby is a perfect combination. It was a unique experience to help with the grape harvest🍇, led by neighbor Paolo who produces delicious, organic wines from them, and also to get an insight into the winery. After a day of hard work among the vines😉, we got to see more of nature by hiking through a beautiful gorge, with an abbey (unfortunately in scaffolding at the end). The hike was quite tough, but the view was well worth it. In the evening a BBQ was organized by the owners and we were able to enjoy delicious local dishes and, of course, wines. The dark chocolate cake was a dessert and the vino cotto that the neighbor had donated with it for our help was a nice and tasty surprise🥂. All in all, Angeli Sognanti was a great destination for us. We can recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful Italian vacation! Alla prossima! Robert & Evelien

We had a great stay with the discovery of the bar-restaurant which was missing from our previous stays. with a very friendly welcome.
