There is always room for improvement so 4 stars. Very nice campsite. The food at the campsite is very tasty. I can recommend the pizza burger noodles.

A very cozy and friendly campsite!

Beautiful riverside location. Varied activities (canoeing, archery, beer and wine tasting, sports tournaments). The Arbois region is well worth discovering, not only for its wine and cheese-producing hillsides, but also for its natural beauty (waterfalls, caves).

Netko tko ima kategorizaciju 4 zvjezdice ne može si dopustiti da spremačica ne uđe u apartman 7 dana. Nedopustivo! Smeće sami odlažete u koševe uz šetnice, kojih na 500 m kvadratnih ima 2, zapremine 10 l. Nedopustivo! Na potezu od 2-3 km plaža, ne postoji niti jedan WC, niti montažna kabina za presvlačenje. Nedopustivo! Broj recepcije uglavnom ne možete dobiti, jer ga isključuju kada im je gužva. Nemam riječi na takvo ponašanje! Nije mi jasno kako su dobili 4 zvjezdice, ali znam da u njihove hotele/resorte nikada više neću nogom kročiti! Usluga i cijena dijametralno suprotne!

The location is very nice but airplanes can be clearly heard as indicated by Park. Otherwise it is in a very idyllic location. And the connection to public transport is also very good. However, the negative points include poor service. The rented tiny house 2 was very dirty, there were long black hairs from the previous tenants everywhere and the kitchen equipment was very dusty throughout. When this was then addressed at reception after the weekend of arrival, there was no decision at all and we were simply told that we should have contacted them sooner. We love this campsite and always enjoy coming here. The sanitary facilities are clean and are cleaned several times a day. The site is quietly located in a park, the city center can be easily reached on foot in 20 minutes, and a bus leaves directly in front of the site. The bus line 2 direction Elmerforst goes from the train station to the CP, stop Camping.

I have been in the campsite 4 days...(Caravan) Camping staff very nice and attentive to their customers (animation and activities have been this weekend super well). State of the land many pine needles but I also say that we are surrounded by pine. Services WC. Unfortunately it is a pity that they are dirty many hours of the day. I would like to return and see what the theme of the cleanliness of the toilets is different. The pool is small but the truth to give you the dip is fine (if to say that there are two steps on the stairs that are regular). The scrubbing area also needs some other arrangement, I imagine that little by little they will work for it. The bar very well (I recommend it).

Sanitary facilities TOP...Friendly and uncomplicated reception...The place itself was very spacious but could have been mowed 4 years later, another visit - conclusion: some annoying dog owners (I am one myself) because dogs are not kept on a lead (especially Dutch dogs). Also negative: no garbage cans for dog bags. Otherwise, as usual: great campsite with nice individual pitches...

Too little privacy at the cottage itself

We really enjoyed our stay at Camping Valamar Baška. I would particularly like to emphasize the cleanliness of the entire facility, which was really top-notch throughout. The Mare Comfort pitches are generously sized, pleasantly laid out and separated from each other by hedges, which ensures a lot of privacy. The location of the campsite, directly on the beautiful bay of Baška, is also a big plus. We also really liked the numerous outdoor options: whether hiking in the surrounding mountains, cycling or water sports - there really is something for everyone here. We found the smoking ban at the pool extremely pleasant, so we were able to enjoy our time there undisturbed. Changing pitches was also completely uncomplicated and was made possible immediately by the friendly staff. We were initially allocated a pitch next to the garbage station at the very end of the campsite, which really wasn't nice. A little tip: not all pitches are equally attractive. Some are right next to the garbage stations - you should pay attention to which pitch you get when booking or checking in. The pitches in the first row to the sea are also not recommended for us, as there is less peace and quiet there due to the heavy through traffic and relaxation can be somewhat limited. Another thing we noticed was that the lower part of the campsite could be made more child-friendly. Unfortunately, there is no playground there, which would certainly be a nice addition for families with younger children. Overall, however, it is a very nice, well-kept campsite that we can recommend with a clear conscience - especially if you pay attention to choosing the right pitch.
