Really nice spot. We only planned a short stay but could have stayed longer.

We stayed in a hiker's cabin. Upon entering we were overcome by a musty unpleasant smell. The floor was not clean. One sheet package contained a torn sheet, so not checked! No cutlery provided.

About the sevice not to mention there is no reception everything goes via app. Location and park is neat and cared for. But is located on very busy road if you sit outside. And the wellnes could be more private by putting a small wall around it.

We've been multiple times to this site and it's a joy each time. Great facilities which keep being upgraded and really nice accommodation set in very peaceful surroundings.

We go to this park at least twice a year. There are great offers and the hiking opportunities are in abundance. It has become a tradition for us!!! We love the views by the water....

Our stay at Camping Merendella was fine overall, but there were several points that bothered us and that we think should be improved: 1. accommodation The rented house was basically okay, but not really clean. We found dust and stains on arrival and apparently the cleaning is mainly done with a leaf blower, which is not enough. No toaster and kettle (which is standard) and we also had an ant problem. Apart from that the facilities were ok. 2. sports facilities A soccer field, as stated in the description, does not exist. Also the advertised water bouncy castle was unfortunately not available. The volleyball court looks unkempt and careless. It is not watered and guests have no opportunity to do this themselves. In some places there is only earth instead of sand, which makes playing unpleasant and even dangerous due to the hard surface. In addition, thorns and bushes grow all around, so that we caught several thorns in our feet. 3rd beach The beach basically has potential, but doesn't look very well maintained. Especially the first two to three meters into the water are full of algae and stones - a bit uncomfortable without bathing shoes. Although there are sun loungers, access is severely restricted: The direct path is blocked by poles, so you can only get into the water via a ladder. The water itself is nice and clear, and with a little more care - such as removing stones and algae and maintaining the area - the beach could actually be very inviting and beautiful. Another problem is dogs running loose. Although we had a dog ourselves that was always on a lead, other dogs ran around freely, peed everywhere, including on sun loungers or in play areas, and our dog was even attacked once. 4. bar and gastronomy The bar is quite okay. There are fresh baguettes and croissants in the morning, but no lunch. The evening program is exclusively in French and English, although during our stay almost half of the guests came from German-speaking countries. Conclusion Camping Merendella has potential in principle, but there is a lack of cleanliness, maintenance and really usable facilities. Anyone who values a well-kept beach, safe sports facilities, a multilingual offer and better dog regulations will probably be disappointed here.

We started our holiday here before going to the Provence. We had a great stay here in the private sanitaire de luxe emplacement. Quite unique concept which we really likes. The lake, mountains and villages are really beautiful. Also because of the mountains it was not as busy and really quiet. Great way to start before heading down to the busier provence.

Good place to camp, the pity that in the plot there was no grass and they filled you with dust. What I did not like was the bar service as they would have when they wanted, they closed the bar at peak hours.

Beautiful villas near the beach and nice villages and forest and nature reserve!

Beautiful, quiet, well-maintained vacation park. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and the pools very pleasant for children and adults alike. The location is ideal for visiting Alkmaar, Amsterdam and Volendam. The only small point for improvement is that the houses lack air-conditioning and mosquito nets, which can be a nuisance in hot weather. All in all, an excellent stay, I recommend for a peaceful family break.

Beautiful grounds with shade as well as sun spots. Clean, well maintained sanitary facilities. Nice manager and others. Cozy restaurant/bar with terrace.
