We enjoyed very much during our midweek getaway. Everything still looked very new, really compliments to the decor! The jacuzzi was lovely and warm on arrival. We would love to come back again.

Had a wonderful stay at this campground. The campsite is on a slope and we were at the bottom while the main entrance and all facilities were at the top. A walk to get breakfast, for example, you can feel in your calves then....

The location of EuroParcs Bad Hoophuizen is very beautiful and the park is well suited for a vacation with a dog. I was there with my dog for a few days at the beginning of December 2025. Unfortunately, the Green Villa I rented was very unhygienic and not properly cleaned on arrival (including hair in the bed, dirty pots and lots of dust/dirt). Although I was offered a rectification, I did not accept it for personal reasons. In addition, several shortcomings only became apparent during my stay. Due to the sensitive, unhygienic conditions, I cleaned them myself instead, which subsequently meant that I was not given any compensation for the cleaning. Even the owners of the Green Villa are of the opinion that I would have been entitled to a refund due to the unclean condition. However, EuroParcs insists that this is no longer possible, which I feel is not customer-oriented and not visitor-friendly. After viewing the pictures (20+) and talking to them, I was assured that the case would be discussed with the management and that I would receive prompt feedback. However, even after more than two weeks, I had not received any feedback, so I finally decided to contact them again by phone to find out the final decision from EuroParcs. This is not the way you want your vacation to start - all in all, it was very unfortunate, which is particularly unfortunate as the resort itself has real potential.

I was there in April this year and it was great. Booking is very easy via the system, even with seat selection. You can't complain about the price either. I had a place right on the river Sauer which was just wonderful. Really a recommendation 👍🏼

We visited this campsite in December, so not everything was open, which we expected. The campsite is easily accessible, you hear very little from the nearby highway. Valkenburg can be reached by car, bike or on foot and there are plenty of things to do. The pitches are well laid out and tidy, although at this time of year they were a bit muddy due to the weather. The only drawback was that the family pool with children's tub is unfortunately closed in winter, as it was not directly in the sanitary building, but accessible from the outside and therefore not open due to frost. However, the sanitary buildings themselves were well maintained and clean. We'd love to come back, but next time we'd like it to be warmer.

We had a wonderful weekend at Essenburglodge 236! A super cozy and cozy cottage, fully equipped. There is even a hot tub and a sauna, which we enjoyed. Definitely recommended for a weekend getaway!

Cottage 4.28 is a lovely place to stay. It is quietly situated under the trees, so you immediately experience a relaxed atmosphere as soon as you arrive. The private parking right outside the door is incredibly convenient, especially when loading and unloading. Inside, the cottage is surprisingly spacious and fully equipped. The kitchen is pleasantly equipped and invites you to cook for yourself. The two rain showers are really a luxurious addition and make the stay extra comfortable. The area around the cottage is wonderfully quiet. You can take a nice walk through the park and enjoy nature. Extra special is the view: you have a beautiful view over a meadow with sheep and horses, and from here you can also see the sunset, a perfect end to the day. The on-site store is also very handy for small groceries or something tasty in between. Also nice: there are charging stations at the park, so you can easily charge your car during your stay.
