The most beautiful camping I ever visit, spacious setup, very clean, great spots near river Vecht, certain easy going visitors with no loud music, shouting etc. Very tranquil. Had great time with my brother and his family and friends that visit for many years. I now know why, hopefully till next year!

This is a very good value campsite! The staff are very welcoming and helpful. It's a very clean campsite with a beautiful swimming pool. It's a very pleasant place to stay.

We stayed in a Stay Easy cottage, but unfortunately the stay did not meet our expectations. The cottage was presented as suitable for five people, but even with three people it was already very cramped and impractical. The seating arrangement was downright ridiculous. There was a small couch and a couple of hard chairs. Even the three of us could not sit comfortably, let alone five. For a vacation rental, this was really unacceptable - relaxing was hardly there. The shower was so small you could barely move and the toilet was also extremely cramped. Normal use was difficult, especially for taller or sturdier people. There were a few small closets, but the storage space was insufficient to store luggage neatly. Many items had to be left on the floor. In addition, there was no way to retreat: the cottage consists of one open space, providing little peace and privacy. The inventory was minimal: some basic pans, plates and cutlery, but no extra amenities. It also lacked a vacuum cleaner, which is inconvenient if you stay several days and want to keep it a little clean. The TV was disappointing: small, placed in an illogical spot in the corner, and in addition, the picture had frequent interference, making normal TV watching difficult. Finally, the pool was uncomfortably cold. Even during hot days, the water was barely usable, which was a shame because that was exactly what we had counted on. In summary, the Stay Easy cottage was small, uncomfortable, sparsely furnished and definitely not suitable for five people. The seating area, the lack of storage space, the distracting TV and the cold pool did not make it a pleasant stay for us. We would not book this type of accommodation again and unfortunately cannot recommend it.

My daughters and I love this campsite, we've been coming to Bois d'Amour❤ for 4 years now and we've had a very pleasant stay as usual, the staff are super friendly, the pool is great and the atmosphere is perfect 💗 The negative points for me would be the cleaning of the mobile home which I find limit☹ the overpriced groceries, 700g of sugar at 4.50 and the baguette and pains chocs1.60 each (4pains chocs and 2bags more than 9euros) it's expensive the pt dej when you have a small budget it 's complicated so we did without😦 Et juste quand il ya beaucoup de vent ça serait bien que la piscine ne soit ouverte en très grand car ça caille🥶juste ouvert pour évacuer le chlore 🤪 We are very attached to this campsite and we will return next year💝👍😊😍

This campsite is to be recommended. The staff are attentive, helpful and smiling. The entertainment is top-notch for young and old. 2 well-prepared shows. The pools are well maintained and large enough for children to swim and play in. The slides are perfect for the youngest. Close proximity to the magnificent Conches beach, which can be reached on foot. Stores and restaurants close by, 5 to 10 minutes by car. Numerous towns to visit in the vicinity of the campsite. It's impossible to get bored on vacation. Thanks to the staff for their professionalism. Maybe we'll see you next year...

Doesn't deserve its 3 stars. Only one person (nice) at reception, but overworked, and in an office that's a real oven. Pool water questionable (cloudy). No toilet paper (not even available at reception). Sanitary facilities a little outdated. We rented a tent on a wooden frame, with a very poorly thought-out latch, which locked us in without letting us out!

Advantages Not too big - not too small 2. Because of that size, there are plenty of facilities but no crowds. It is cozy but quiet; Comfort and river spots are nice and big; Different European nationalities and still enough Dutch children; Elongated by the river. You can let yourself into the river at the beginning of the campsite with an air mattress and drift along for 20min; Canoe rental next to pool, highly recommended! Other nice trips in the area (waterfalls, villages, towns etc). Disadvantages (hold on....;)) 6. Moderate to poor sanitary quality, loose walls, too small sanitary facilities, loose toilet seats, old. Not possible to shower with your child, so small are the cubicles. Parts regularly closed. Unisex toilets with unsealed seats so that women have to sit in the man's pee on the seat. Even planks of the decking are rotten, which is simply dangerous. Will not be fixed.... 7. Cleaning just bad!!!! Cleaners also look totally not competent, walk through the plumbing with a cloth and hygiene spray, with that cloth everything is done, BAH! Bucket and separated cloths for toilet/shower is nowhere to be seen. Cobwebs never cleaned so a spider regularly visits you during your toilet visit. Cleaning times are written down.... According to reaction owner to some reviews this is 4x a day, but during our week there were often only 1-2 times written down. Or even worse: sometimes in the morning the time of noon was already written down and at that time they did not come to clean at all. All a sham.... 8. Swimming pool: top layer of floor is loose, hurts feet. Too small for when not allowed to swim in river. The first few days the what in the pool was really poor quality. Stairs are loose, too few beds etc etc. 9. By order of the municipality you are not allowed to swim in the river. Water quality was tested and sufficient for swimming though, so several did this. Take water shoes and inflatable things with you. Is not clearly stated this in advance, see owner respond that it does say this somewhere. But that you are not allowed in the river is not clear to visitors in advance / at reception, so there is a miscommunication there. 10. Animation program does not correspond to what the website offers. 11. To us it really came across as clean. There is everything and the potential is there, but the execution is lousy. Because of the length, certain facilities are all at the beginning. For a pool is not bad, but that you have to walk the whole campsite with your chemical toilet is nothing. 13. Many bumps. Streets are bad, after rain a lot of water remains. Especially the first pitches on the campsite suffer from this. In any case, most ordinary places were lousy (little shade, many holes, flooding especially at the beginning of the campsite). In addition, no obligation at night so nice unsafe fall by all the bumps! 14. Few water taps & electricity points are not correct, some have to lay their cables through several starts because there is nowhere near an empty outlet. 15. There is a playground but this is fun until 4 years old, for 4 year olds and above no fun play facility. 16. Huttopia has a sustainable policy. Therefore, in terms of transportation, they have the following options: Public transport, not possible not close by, charging stations are not there because that requires too much energy. Other campsites can do all this with renewable energy. So you can go to huttopia in your diesel or petrol car! 17. little interest: is not even asked how your stay was ... For us the last time Huttopia, we've had the cleanliness idea before with Huttopia. Good communication beforehand, online everything looks nice, but in practice it's all very disappointing. Too bad, because there is a lot of potential in the campsite. This is not directed at the hardworking members of Huttopia Ounans. But the policy from above is not right, all clean appearance and nice communication but the implementation at the campsites is really lousy.

We were hiking on the Mullerthal trail and suddenly, we got caught in a heavy thunderstorm. In less than 2min we were soaking wet to the bone but made it to the camping. We needed a taxi back to our car but the owner proposed to bring us back herself. We didn’t stay at the camping yet her hospitality and willingess to help us at no cost is totally worth 5 stars. She provided the trail magic! Thank you very much again for your kindness! Aurélie & Olivier
